Liv Morgan has provided an update on her condition following a recent injury scare, assuring fans she is feeling better as she prepares for WrestleMania 42.
Morgan appeared on ESPN First Take and was still visibly bruised, with swelling on her face stemming from the incident on the April 6 episode of WWE RAW. During that segment, Morgan and Roxanne Perez collided heads after a blindside attack from Stephanie Vaquer, leading to both competitors receiving medical attention.
Despite the severity of the moment, Morgan made it clear she is in good spirits and ready to compete.
“I’m doing so much better than I’m looking. Thank you for asking,” Morgan said. “I think that people that accuse wrestling of being fake are ill-informed. You cannot fake this bruising, you cannot fake this swelling. But I’m doing well. And Stephanie Vaquer is so lucky that I’m still pretty [laughs].”
The injury initially raised concern, but Morgan’s quick return to public appearances helped ease fears. She was spotted attending an NBA game just days after the incident, signaling that the situation was not as serious as it first appeared.
Morgan is set to challenge Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 Saturday. She expressed strong confidence ahead of the match and emphasized how important the moment is in her career.
“I feel like this is 11 years in the making for me. I know I’ve earned this opportunity, so this is my favorite [WrestleMania] already,” Morgan said. “My whole entire family will be in attendance. But winning will cement this as the greatest WrestleMania of all time, for me personally at least.”
Morgan earned this title opportunity by winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, positioning herself for one of the top matches on the WrestleMania card. In addition to her in-ring momentum, she has also released a new song and music video titled “Trouble” ahead of the event.
With WrestleMania 42 approaching, Morgan appears ready to move forward despite the recent setback, keeping her focus on capturing the championship.
