LIVE 9/5 NXT ResultsTiffany Stratton (C) vs. Kiana James

The match kicks off with a lock-up, and both competitors immediately resort to hair-pulling in their attempts to gain an early advantage. Tiffany Stratton seizes control with a side headlock and a powerful shoulder tackle. She then surprises everyone with a matrix-like move to evade Kiana James. The two lock up again, showcasing their grappling skills. Tiffany secures a wrist lock, but James counters with her own reversal.

A cartwheel from James allows her to gracefully land on her feet and apply a hammerlock. Tiffany finds her way to the ropes to break the hold. A series of quick pin attempts ensue, with Tiffany even using the ropes for leverage, but the referee halts the count. James retaliates with a roll-up, grabbing a handful of tights, but the referee spots the infraction.

Tiffany responds with a forearm to the back of James’ head and another forearm for a near fall. She sends James into the turnbuckles and proceeds to deliver a series of shoulders. James counters with knees to Tiffany’s back and applies a stretching submission hold. Tiffany manages to reverse the hold, but James attempts an O’Connor Roll. Tiffany holds onto the ropes to thwart the pinning attempt.

Both competitors exchange strikes and clotheslines, resulting in a double down. As Tiffany reaches for James’ Gucci bag, Kiana knocks it away and lands her “401k” finishing move for a near fall. Tiffany resorts to a rake of the eyes, followed by her signature “Finlay Slam” and the “Prettiest Moonsault Ever” to secure the three-count victory.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

After the match, Becky Lynch appears on the ShawnTron screen to congratulate Tiffany on her successful title defense. Becky reveals that since she’s achieved nearly everything in WWE except the NXT Women’s Title, she’s coming to NXT. Next week, Tiffany Stratton will face Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Title in the main event.

– Carmelo Hayes and Wes Lee arrive at the front door at the same time.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and the Diamond Mine Dojo is back in action. Julius tells Ivy no more drama and Brutus no more goofing off.  They talk about winning the tag titles again and getting back to the top of the mountain. Channing and Tony show up and point out that The Creeds are already taking shots. Julius thanks Tony and Channing for watching out for Ivy a few weeks ago. Edris Enofe and Malik Blade show up and Malik says you can act like you want a title match but you won’t get it.  Edris says they will be the ones to challenge for the titles.

Ilja Dragunov vs. Oro Mensah

They lock up and Ilja with a hip lock take down.  Oro with a waist lock and punches to the lower back.  Oro with a side head lock and Ilja with a hip lock take down and punches.  Ilja with a side head lock.  Oro backs Ilja to the corner and Oro with a punch on the break followed by forearms.  Ilja with forearms.  Ilja with an Irish whip and a knee into the corner.  Ilja with a knee drop off the turnbuckles.  Ilja with a waist lock and Oro backs Ilja into the corner and connects with elbows.  Ilja with a kick and knee to the head.  Ilja with a waist lock and Oro gets to the ropes.  Oro with a rake of the eyes and a quebrada for a near fall.  Oro with a kick to the back.  Ilja tells Oro to bring it and kick him in the head.  Oro kicks Ilja and connects with foerarms.  Ilja and Oro go back and forth with elbows and then Oro with a kick.  Ilja misses an enzuigiri and Oro kicks Ilja when Ilja goes for Konstantin Special.

Oro with punches and kicks in the corner.  Oro chokes Ilja in the corner.  Oro with an exploder.  Oro with a forearm to the back and an elbow to the back of the neck.  Ilja with a European uppercut and Oro with a near fall.  Oro with a kick to the head and Ilja falls into the corner.  Ilja with a chop and Oro with a kick to the head.  Oro with an Irish whip and Ilja sends Oro to the apron.  Oro runs Ilja’s eyes on the top rope.  Oro with a springboard side kick for a near fall.  Oro runs the forearm across the bridge of the nose.  Oro with a rear chin lock.  Ilja with forearms and he blocks a bicycle kick but Oro with a flip kick for a near fall.  Oro with kicks and a rear chin lock.  Oro with a body scissors.  Ilja lanes back to get a near fall. Oro with kicks to Ilja’s leg and head for a near fall.  Oro with kicks to Ilja.  Oro goes for an exploder but Ilja blocks it.  

Ilja with elbows and Ilja avoids a flip kick from Oro.  Ilja with a running knee to the head.  Ilja with a waist lock and Oro with back elbows to escape. Oro misses a quebrada but lands on his feet.  Ilja with Konstantin Special followed by a few German suplexes. Oro with a head lock and Ilja with a wrist clutch uranage for a near fall.  Oro blocks a power bomb attempt.  Oro punches Ilja  and Ilja’s legs give out.  Oro with kicks for a near fall.   Oro mocks Ilja and Ilja with an enzuigiri.  Ilja with a power bomb and he sets for Torpedo Moscow and hits it for the three count.

Winner:  Ilja Dragunov

After the match, Wes Lee makes his way to the ring. He tells Ilja he would tell him in the back, but your date at destiny is going to be put on hold. I have the next title match. Ilja says that Wes is a voracious competitor, but the title is his and Carmelo Hayes is his. He says that he will take care of anyone who steps in his way. Wes tells Ilja to try him. He has more heart than anyone and he will go through anyone to get the title from Carmelo.

NXT Men’s Champion Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring. He says he knows two dudes whose jerseys hang in the rafters aren’t saying that they are going to beat him. He talked to Shawn Michaels for advice. Hayes says there is no asterisk next to his win over Ilja. You took a risk and Hayes took advantage. Wes, you can come up with whatever excuse you want. You took a risk and Hayes says he took advantage. You are the two top in NXT. Shawn Michaels said next week it will be Ilja Dragunov versus Wes Lee. The winner of the match faces him at No Mercy. He says he hopes they show mercy on each other because on the 30th, he won’t.

– Dominik is reading the WWE rule book and rips up the pages.  He looks at his referee shirt.

– Nathan is with McKenzie and he is asked about his next match.  Frazer says he has gone viral.  People tell him he goes too fast and he needs to slow down.  He was a little excited last week, but he wants that trophy back.  He didn’t get to NXT by slowing down or holding back.

We go to commercial.

– Thea and Jacy are in the back and Thea talks about Becky Lynch being at NXT next week. Gigi Dolin shows up and says that Jacy is taking advantage of people again.  Jacy says that Gigi is jealous.  Blair shows up and says that Gigi is jealous. Thea says that Gigi does not have to stand up for her.  You want to act like you know her, but you don’t. Gigi says she knows Jacy and she wants to protect Thea. Thea says she will show it to Gigi tonight.

Nathan Frazer vs. Duke Hudson in a Group B Round Robin Match in the Global Heritage Invitational

Frazer with a side head lock and Duke with a shoulder tackle.  Duke with a side head lock.  Frazer with a side head lock.  Frazer floats over and applies a side head lock.  Frazer avoids Duke and he goes for a side head lock take down but Duke with a belly-to–back suplex for a near fall.  Frazer with a kick and drop kick that sends Duke to the apron.  Frazer with a running back elbow to knock Duke off the apron.  Frazer with a somersault senton onto Duke on the floor.  Duke with a uranage in the corner.  Duke has some words for Frazer and Frazer with punches.  Duke with a chop in the corner followed by a hard Irish whip.  Frazer goes for a Razor’s Edge but Frazer counters with a rana that sends Duke into the turnbuckles.  Frazer with a Phoenix Splash for the three count.

Winner:  Nathan Frazer (2 Points)

– We go to the Diamond Mine Dojo and Hank and Tank are in there.  Hank says to be a good tag team, you need to talk to each other.  Tank asks if they ever fought each other. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price show up and they introduce themselves to the Creeds.  Nima says they don’t play games.  They also want the tag titles and they are not going ot go around The Creeds, they are going through them.

– SCRYPTS says they have a bond that is better than blood and SCRYPTS says he understands their vibe.

We go to commercial.

Dabba-Kato vs. Tyler Bate

Tyler throws his towel at Dabba and he punches Dabba before the match starts.

The referee starts the match and Bate with kicks and he tries to get Dabba on his shoulders but Dabba does not go up.  Dabba with a boot to Bate.  Dabba with a Cobra Clutch.  Dabba with a uranage back breaker and he stretches Tyler over his knee.  Bate with a knee to escape.  Bate kicks Dabba and comes off the turnbuckles with a back elbow.  Bate with a clothesline and a rebound clothesline.  Bate avoids a choke slam and he gets Dabba on his shoulders for an airplane spin and slam.  Bate goes up top for a Spiral Tap senton for the three count.

Winner:  Tyler Bate

– Dominik Mysterio walks in the back and he sees Carmelo Hayes and asks if it is hard to be champion.  Dom says that Hayes finds out who his opponent will be at No Mercy next week and Dom says he picks… sees who his opponent is next.

– Lyra says she is sick of Dom as champion and Roxanne agrees.  They talk about Dragon Lee and his chances if he wins. Kiana James comes into the dressing room and throws something. Roxanne tells Kiana she should relax and appreciate the chance she got. Kiana says she took that chance from Roxanne and will do it again and again. Roxanne punches Kiana and the other women have to separate them.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and McKenzie asks Baron Corbin for a prediction for the main event.  He says both of them have to prove themselves to him.  If Bron wants to be the Alpha, he has to end Von’s career.  If Von is obsessed with tables, he needs the win.  He says he does not care who gets the job done.  He will sit on commentary enjoying who gets the job done.  He says he might pick up the scraps when the match is done.

– Kelly Kincaid was in the back to talk to Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany has no comment and walks past Kelly.

Dragon Lee vs. Mustafa Ali with Guest Referee Dominik Mysterio

They lock up and go to a stalemate.  Lee with a waist lock and Ali with a standing switch and drop toe hold.  Lee with a wrist lock and Ali escapes.  Ali wants a test of strength.  Lee with a leg trip and Lee gets a series of near fall.s  Ali with a head scissors take down.  Ali with a chop.  Lee with an Irish whip and kick in the corner.  Lee with a slingshot kick for a near fall.  Lee with a waist lock and Ali with elbows.  Ali with an enzuigiri.  Ali goes to the turnbuckles and Lee chops Ali and goes up top.  Ali knocks Lee to the mat and Ali with a buckshot lariat off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Lee lands on his feet on a delayed vertical suplex attempt and Ali is sent to the floor.  Lee with a suicide dive that knocks Ali onto Booker.  Ali with a handspring clothesline off the announce table.  Ali sends Lee into the corner and goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT for a near fall.

Lee with a German suplex for a near fall.  Lee sets for a power bomb but Ali lands on his feet.  Ali sends Lee into the turnbuckles and then Ali with a slingshot Jackhammer for a near fall.  Ali goes to the turnbuckles and misses a 450 splash but Ali rolls through.  Lee with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Ali with a victory roll for the three count.

WInner:  Mustafa Ali

After the match, Ali punches Dom.  Ali shakes Lee’s hand and apologizes.  Ali leaves the ring. Lee has some words for Dom before he leaves the ring.

– Trick Williams is on the phone and Ilja shows up and he comes in peace. Ilja says he meant everything he said last week.  He asks Trick why would he lie to his best friend. Trick says he knows that if Ilja wins next week, Hayes will beat him at No Mercy. Ilja says he wants the truth.  He tells Trick he has a week to figure out if he wants to lie to his best friend or lie to himself.

Back to commercial.

– We go to a Drew, Dempsey, and Kemp training session.  Drew wants to know why Myles is here and Myles says he is doing his job.  Drew asks if he would rather be hanging around with his buckaroo buddies and that they wouldn’t find out.  Drew says he would tell Myles when he is ready.  He better make his opportunity count because it might be his only one.

– Eddy Thorpe says he had it won.  You can’t win without cheating.  They will end this and he does not know when or where.  He is going to deal with Dijak again.

Butch vs. Axiom in A Round Robin Match in the Global Invitational Tournament

Butch slaps Axiom when Axiom offers his hand.  Axiom with a knee bar and Butch gets to the ropes.  They go to a test of strength and Butch with a wrist lock and he messes with Axiom’s mask.  Butch with a front face lock and Axiom with a front face lock.  Butch with a front face lock.  Butch gets a near fall.  Butch with a drop toe hold and he works on the ankle.  Butch works on the legs and then goes for the wrist.  Butch with a hammer lock and a boot to the head.  Axiom with a side head lock and Butch with a clothesline.  Axiom iwth a springboard arm drag and drop kick.  Butch with an X Plex and a baseball slide to the ribs.  Butch ties the arm in the ropes and hyper-extends the other arm.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and Butch with forearms to Axiom.  We see footage of Butch hitting a superplex during the commercial break.  Butch with slaps to Axiom.  Butch with another slap to Axiom.  Axiom with chops and slaps to Butch.  Axiom with a drop kick.  Axiom with a kick in the corner and a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.  Axiom with a waist lock and Butch holds on to the ropes to avoid an O’Connor Roll.  Axiom with a suplex but he goes for a moonsault and Butch moves and catches Axiom in an arm bar.  Butch with kicks to Axiom.  Axiom with head butts and a rollup for a near fall.  Butch goes for an arm submission but Axiom with a triangle.  Butch with a German suplex.  Axiom avoids a kick and Axiom with forearms and kicks.  Axiom goes for a springboard DDT but Butch with a knee and a power bomb for a near fall.  

Butch goes up top for a moonsault but Axiom moves and Butch lands on his feet.  Axiom with a thrust kick and Golden Ratio but Butch’s arm is under the ropes to stop the count.   Axiom with an arm bar submission but Butch pulls at the fingers.  Butch with Bitter End for a near fall.

Time Limit Draw (Butch 3 Points Axiom 1 Point)

– After the match, they fist bump to show respect. Tyler Bate comes out and he waves hello to Butch.

– We go to Von Wagner earlier today.  He says he is sorry about tonight but this is going to hurt him more than it hurts you.  Ever since you came into his life, things have been better.  The birds are chirping and the fans are cheering.  He tells him the last thing he wants to do is hurt him or make him feel bad about himself.  We see that Von is talking to the table. Robert Stone shows up and asks Von if he is ready. Von says that Bron is going to get tabled.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and Tony and Channing talk about all of the tag teams in the company.  Angel and Humberto show up and talk about being families.  Julius checks to see if everything is okay. Tony tells Angel not to make any threats to them.  Tony tells Angel he should leave and then Tony punches Angel and everyone starts to fight.

Thea Hail vs. Gigi Dolin

They lock up and Thea with a wrist lock and arm wringer.  Thea kicks Gigi in the leg and works on the arm.  Thea slams the arm into the mat and gets a near fall.  Thea with an arm bar.  Gigi with a side head lock.  Gigi with a shoulder tackle and she blocks a hip toss and gets a near fall with a back slide.  Thea with a head scissors take down but Gigi sends Thea into the ropes and hits a running hip strike but misses a drop kick.  Thea with an exploder but Gigi blocks an uppercut.  Thea with back elbows and an elbow in the corner.  Gigi blocks an exploder and kicks Thea in the knee and head.  Thea with a round kick for a near fall.  Thea floats over into a kimura and body scissors.  Gigi tries to get to the ropes and Gigi gets there to force a break.  Gigi goes to the floor and Thea tries for a kimura on the floor.  Gigi sends Thea into the ring post and hits an STO on the floor.

Blair Davenport comes out and hits a divorce court on Gigi on the floor while Jacy distracts the referee.  Thea with a kimura and Gigi taps out.

Winner:  Thea Hail

– Julius and Brutus are in the middle of the turmoil and Ivy shows up and asks what happened.  Brutus says it is good to be back.

– Bron Breakker and Von Wagner walk in the back as we go to commercial.

– We are back with Kelani and Lyra and she tells Kelani not to get so worked up over her match.  Dana Brooke shows up and wants to know why Lyra is here.  Dana says that Lyra is filling her head with things she does not need to hear.  Lyra is not going to break up their teams. Lyra says she does not know what is going on with Dana but if she wants a match, just ask.  Lyra says when she is done with Dana maybe Kelani will get better friends.

– Tiffany Stratton says Becky is the biggest match in her career.  She has been doing this for two years and Becky is coming for her.  Where was Becky after two years?  You might be Big Time Becks and a Wrestlemania main eventer but Tiffany says she is the center of the universe and she will see Becky next week.

– Next week, Tyler Bate faces Axiom while Nathan Frazer faces Akira Tozawa in Invitational Matches.  Ilja Dragunov face Wes Lee in a number one contender match for a shot at Carmelo Hayes.

Von Wagner vs. Bron Breakker in a No Disqualification Match

Baron Corbin joins Vic and Booker on commentary for the main event.

Von misses a boot as the bell rings.  Von with punches but Bron with shoulders and an Irish whip followed by a clothesline.  Von clotheslines Bron over the top rope to the floor.  Von runs Bron into teh aproni and Von sends Bron’s head into the announce table a few times.  Von with punches and he sends Bron over the announce table into Booker’s chair.  Von fixes the announce table and he says it is time to go through the table.  Bron kicks Von and Von with a shoulder tackle and a flying shoulder tackle.  Von with a Mick Foley clothesline over the top rope to the floor.  Bron hits Von in the ribs with a chair.  Von blocks a chair shot and Von misses Bron with the chair.  Bron with a German suplex on the floor.  They return to the ring.  

Von with a knee and forearm.  Bron with a double leg take down and punches.  Bron with an Irish whip and Von with a knee out of the corner followed by a clothesline.  Von goes under the ring for chairs.  VOn tosses a kendo stick into the ring.  Bron with a running forearm to Von.  Bron pulls out a table for a moment but puts it back under the ring so people know that he is the heel.

Von hot shots Bron on the ring steps.  Von gets a kendo stick and tries to hit Bron with it but Bron hits Von in the ribs and back with a chair   Bron jams the top of the chair into Von’s ribs.  Bron hits Von in the back with the kendo stick a few times.  Bron hits Von in the ribs with the kendo stick and then in the back.  Bron with a knee to the ribs.  Bron puts a chair in the turnbuckles and then Bron gets a kendo stick but Von blocks it and Von with head butts.  Bron with a clothesline for a near fall.  

Bron punches Von and then gets the kendo stick again.  Bron hits Von in the back.  Von tells Bron to hit him again.  Bron hits Von in the back one more time and gets a near fall.  Bron with a waist lock.  Von backs Bron into the corner where the chair is wedged in the turnbuckles.  Von with a series of running boots but Bron blocks a third attempt and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall.

Von with a knee and he cannot get Bron up due to the damage done by Bron.  Bron with punches and he goes to the turnbuckles.  Bron with a bulldog onto the chair and the straps come down.  Bron with a Steiner Recliner using the kendo stick.  Von powers out of the hold and Von chokes Bron with the kendo stick.  Bron backs Von into the turnbuckles.  Bron with clotheslines but Von stays on his feet.  Bron with a double knee gutbuster.  Bron goes for a running shoulder but Von moves and Bron hits the chair he set up.  Bron gets a chair but Von steps on it while Von has a kendo stick.  Bron spits in Von’s face and Von with the kendo stick and the stick shatters.  Von hits Bron in the ribs and back with the chair.  Von with a choke slam for a near fall.
