Mads Krule Krugger Cashes In, Wins MLW World Title at Fightland – Major League Wrestling presented its Fightland event on September 13 at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, Texas, streaming live on YouTube. The night was headlined by a dramatic MLW World Championship change.

Mads Krule Krugger cashed in his Gravity Gamble contract ahead of the main event, which had originally been scheduled as Matt Riddle defending against Donovan Dijak. By doing so, Krule inserted himself into the match, officially making it a triple threat contest.

The finish came after Riddle landed his Brostone Piledriver on Dijak and appeared to have the match won. Krule broke up the pinfall, delivered a full nelson face slam to Riddle, and then pinned him to secure the victory and his first MLW World Championship. After the bell, Krule and Dijak continued their fight around the arena before spilling outside, where Alex Hammerstone got involved and struck Krule with a chair.

This win marks the beginning of Krule’s first reign with the MLW World Title. Riddle’s reign comes to an end after 246 days, which included four successful defenses. Krule earned the right to cash in at any time by winning the Gravity Gamble contract back in January at MLW Kings of Colosseum 2025.

Fightland also featured multiple tournament bouts and title matches. Último Guerrero and Zandokan Jr. advanced in the Opera Cup, while Shoko Nakajima retained her Women’s World Featherweight Championship over Yuki Kamifuku. In addition, Templario defeated Ikuro Kwon to capture the vacant MLW World Middleweight Championship, and Alex Hammerstone topped Matthew Justice in a violent Texas Deathmatch.
