Maxxine Dupri Gets Physical On RAW – In recent months, Dupri has been recruiting Otis. At first, she was seemingly trying to get him to join Maximum Male Models, but she wound up joining Otis and his tag team partner, Chad Gable, as a member of Alpha Academy. Gable previously teased that he would train Dupri how to wrestle, and that’s exactly what he did on the June 12 episode of WWE Raw.

Dupri, Gable, and Otis were briefly shown training backstage during the show. WWE then shared a clip of the trio training, and Dupri took Gable down with an arm drag. She used this lesson during Gable’s match with Erik of the Viking Raiders. Valhalla charged Dupri, and the Alpha Academy student took her down with an arm drag. Gable proceeded to pin Erik with a sunset flip, so Alpha Academy collectively won the night.

In related news, Gable’s match with Erik was reportedly cut short. The match didn’t last long because it was over in about a minute and 50 seconds but it was supposed to go longer. #BWE, the insider private Twitter account, noted that the cut was last minute decision. The reason for this is not confirmed but it’s likely because the segment between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor went long.
