Mike Santana Hopes to Bring Bound For Glory to the UK, Reflects on Meeting AJ Styles – Bound For Glory has been TNA Wrestling’s biggest annual event since its launch in 2005. Over the years, the show has grown into the company’s flagship spectacle and has been held outside of the United States on several occasions, including past editions in Canada and Japan. In a new interview with Medd In The Morning, TNA World Champion Mike Santana was asked about the possibility of the promotion bringing Bound For Glory to the United Kingdom. Santana made it clear that the UK is very much on his wish list and described the country as one of his favorite places to perform.

“That’s a goal. That’s definitely a goal, and I’d love one. I love the UK going over to the UK with some of my greatest experiences, some of my favorite times wrestling there, and yeah, I hope we get to do it again and it would definitely be exciting, and I think the fans are clamoring for it and it’ll be great, man. So hopefully we could make that happen for sure.”

Santana’s comments come during a major moment in his career. Earlier this month, he recaptured the TNA World Title at the company’s AMC iMPACT! premiere, a landmark episode that helped introduce TNA to a wider audience. That same show also featured an appearance by WWE star AJ Styles, making the night even more memorable.

During the interview, Santana reflected on meeting Styles backstage and explained how meaningful that interaction was to him. Santana said both men seemed eager to find each other after the show, with mutual respect driving the moment.

“Man, definitely an awesome moment. It’s funny because I feel like when I came to the back, we were both almost like looking for each other and beelining towards each other. Me, I wanted to express my gratitude to him for what he’s done for TNA and what he’s given TNA, and for him, it was him pretty much saying what you said, like, ‘the house is yours now,’ and to hear that from AJ Styles was, I mean, what more could I ask for, right? You know, to hear this man who I’ve admired and respected for so long, and have followed his entire career. Tell me like you’re the guy and that he’s proud and TNA is in great hands it meant a lot to me.”

As Santana continues his reign as TNA World Champion, his goal of bringing Bound For Glory to the UK reflects both his personal passion and the company’s growing international ambitions.
