More on Today’s Cuts from WWE HQ – As part of the post-acquisition restructuring following Endeavor’s merger of WWE and UFC to create TKO Group Holdings, two more departures from WWE headquarters have been confirmed today.
Previously, it was reported that the WWE Network and Podcasting divisions were significantly affected by employee cuts. An update from PWInsider now reveals that the Marketing and Live Events divisions have also witnessed substantial layoffs.
Kimberly Kirkegard, who served as WWE’s Brand Director, is among those released. She joined WWE in April 2018 as a Brand Project Manager, following over six years with Mohegan Sun. During her time at WWE, she steadily climbed the ranks, achieving the role of Brand Senior Manager in February 2020 and then Director in September 2022.
Saverio Brighina, WWE’s Affiliate Marketing Manager, was also let go. Brighina’s LinkedIn profile indicates that he was hired as Senior Marketing Manager by WWE in 2005, holding the position for nearly 19 years until today.
