Myles Borne Wins NXT North American Championship – The February 24 episode of NXT on The CW closed with a dramatic and emotional North American Championship match, as Myles Borne challenged long‑reigning champion Ethan Page in the night’s main event. Page had held the title since May 2025 and already set the record for most successful defenses, but Borne entered the match with momentum—and with his mother, a cancer survivor, watching proudly from ringside.
The match quickly turned chaotic when Vanity Project—Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes—arrived to assist Page. Drake blasted Borne across the head with his WWE EVOLVE Men’s Title, but Borne kicked out, refusing to stay down. Reinforcements soon arrived in the form of Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Shiloh Hill, who will face Vanity Project in a six‑man tag on March 3. Their presence helped neutralize the interference, but the ringside area remained volatile.
The situation escalated further when Ricky Saints attempted to help Page retain. Before he could get involved, NXT Champion Joe Hendry stormed down and pulled Saints away. Hendry and Saints are set to clash for the NXT Title at Vengeance Day on March 7, and their confrontation caused one of the top turnbuckles to come loose.
That moment proved decisive. Borne shoved Page into the exposed corner, then hit his Borne Again finisher to score the three‑count and capture the NXT North American Championship.
The show ended with an emotional celebration as Borne embraced his mother in the ring, marking the biggest moment of his career in front of the person who inspired him most.
