New Champion Crowned on WWE Evolve “Succession” – A new champion was crowned on this week’s episode of WWE Evolve, as Kendal Grey defeated Kali Armstrong to capture the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship. The title change took place during Wednesday’s “Succession” edition of WWE Evolve, which aired October 15, 2025, on Tubi TV.
Grey ended Armstrong’s 151-day reign as the inaugural titleholder after countering her opponent’s rope charge into a perfectly executed powerslam, earning the decisive pinfall victory. The match was originally taped on September 23, though both wrestlers have stayed active in WWE competition since then.
At just 24 years old, Grey has been making a name for herself across WWE’s developmental landscape. She previously challenged unsuccessfully for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship and the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship at various NXT live events, but Wednesday’s win officially marks her first championship victory under the WWE banner.
For Kali Armstrong, the loss concludes her first championship reign, which began in April when she triumphed in a four-way match that included Grey. Over the course of her 151-day tenure as champion, Armstrong defended the title four times before finally being dethroned by the young challenger.
Since signing with WWE in March 2024, Kendal Grey has steadily climbed through the ranks with appearances on NXT, TNA iMPACT, and the now-defunct NXT Level Up program. Her title victory on WWE Evolve marks a major milestone in her rapidly growing career.
