During tonights TNA Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida, Eddie Edwards defeated Lashley to become the brand new TNA World Champion.Lashley was given the option of defending the title against Edwards, Moose, or Ethan Carter III. Lashley chose Edwards, claiming that it would be the easiest route.Edwards had previously competed on Sunday night at TNA Wrestlings Bound for Glory event, losing to Aron Rex in the match to determine the companys first-ever Impact Grand Champion.
