The match’s dramatic conclusion saw Valkyria attempt a sunset powerbomb in the corner, only for Jax to counter by holding onto the ropes and delivering the Annihilator to secure the win.

With this victory, Nia Jax has earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam, where she will challenge the current champion, Bayley.

Jax’s path to the finals included impressive victories over Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair. On the other side of the bracket, Lyra Valkyria earned her spot in the finals by defeating Dakota Kai, Zoey Stark, and IYO SKY.
