Nick Wayne is officially All Elite.
The promising young star made his debut on this evening’s edition of AEW Dynamite, where he took on his old rival from the indies, Swerve Strickland. Wayne put on an incredible show and nearly had Swerve defeated on several occasions, but the Mogul Embassy leader proved too feisty and put Wayne away with a modified driver.
The fans were heavily invested in the matchup, something that AEW President Tony Khan took notice of. He commented on the matchup on Twitter, then announced in a separate tweet that Wayne was now an official part of the roster.
