WWE HOFer Kevin Nash Explains Why He Doesn’t See Roman Reigns As A Heel

One of WWE’s top storylines headed into WrestleMania 42 is the feud for the World Heavyweight Championship between CM Punk and Roman Reigns, seemingly set to headline the second night of the event. The pair have been trading barbs for weeks in main event segments of “WWE Raw,” with Punk mentioning he’d bury Reigns next to his late father, Sika, and Reigns calling Punk “old.”

Fans are attempting to determine who exactly is the heel of the story, and according to WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash on “Kliq This,” both are “tweeners,” or characters between heel and babyface. Nash doesn’t think there’s any way that Reigns is the true heel.

“You can’t f****** have Roman Reigns on his way to the ring, and have a graphic that says ‘Roman Reigns has headlined 11 WrestleManias.’ Like, okay. I should dislike this guy for what f****** reason?” Nash questioned. “Midway through the f****** show, he says, ‘Everyone f****** b****** about me being a part-timer,’ and he’s sitting there talking with his cousins. He says, ‘I know about me, I never saw my dad. How about you guys? You ever see your dad?’ And they’re like, ‘No.’ He said, ‘…Yeah, I’m part-time this, I’m full-time father. Full-time dad. Full-time f****** husband’ So, how is that a heel?”

The pair’s most recent segment on “Raw” ended with Reigns taking an order from his cousin, Jey Uso, to attack Punk after the men traded words to end the show. As the Usos were held back by security, Reigns hit Punk with a spear, then sent him through the commentary desk with a powerbomb.

Backstage Report On WWE’s Future Plans With IShowSpeed

YouTube sensation IShowSpeed appeared on “WWE Raw” this past Monday where he was cursed by Danhausen in a backstage segment, and according to a new report, he will be making more appearances in the near future.

On Wednesday, Bodyslam+ claimed that there have been backstage discussions in WWE about IShowSpeed being involved at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas next month. At this time, it’s not been confirmed whether the 21-year-old is being considered for a match or just an appearance, but he now joins the list of celebrities who will potentially be involved at “The Grandest Stage Of Them All.” In addition to American artist Jelly Roll being featured on “WWE SmackDown” as of late to presumably set up a match at WrestleMania, former NFL Quarterback Tom Brady has been rumored to appear at the two-night event after criticizing WWE star Logan Paul and poking fun at the scripted nature of professional wrestling.

IShowSpeed has competed in one WWE match thus far, having been a surprise entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble where he was famously speared by Bron Breakker before getting eliminated. IShowSpeed was also involved at WrestleMania 40, where he suffered an RKO at the hands of Randy Orton while dressed as a Prime Energy Mascot. Last October, the YouTube star was present at the WWE Performance Center to record an episode of “Speed Goes Pro” with Orton, which is a series where Speed tries to keep up with some of the best athletes in the world in their respective sports.

Across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch, IShowSpeed has amassed 149 million followers over the past 10 years.

Special Editions Of AEW Dynamite & Collision Set To Return In April

After holding Maximum Carnage in January and Grand Slam: Australia in February, AEW hasn’t gone back to the well when it comes to holding special episodes of “AEW Dynamite” and “Collision” in March. But it won’t be much longer before AEW brings back some themed shows, with three set to take place in the weeks following AEW Dynasty.

In a press release, Warner Brothers Discovery revealed AEW will be presenting two Spring BreakThru episodes of “Dynamite” and “Collision,” as well as Playoff Palooza for “Collision” next month. While WBD’s scheduling has Spring BreakThru taking place on Thursday and Friday and Playoff Palooza taking place on a Saturday, outside of AEW’s normal TV slots, it’s believed that is a scheduling error, and that the episodes will take place on Wednesday April 15, Thursday April 16, and Saturday April 25 respectively.

This will be the second time AEW has run Spring BreakThru themed shows, having done so last year on April 16 and April 17; like last year, Spring BreakThru will take place just days before WrestleMania. Many AEW fans have considered the “Dynamite” edition of Spring BreakThru 2025 to be among the best events in AEW history, with the show featuring Mercedes Mone vs. Athena, Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita, and The Opps defeating The Death Riders to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

It will also be the second go around for Playoff Palooza, which aired on April 26, 2025 and featured “Timeless” Toni Storm defeating Queen Aminata in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator match. Unlike last year, when it aired following the first round of the NBA Playoffs, Playoff Palooza’s lead-in will be the first round of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.

iShowSpeed WWE WrestleMania 42 Appearance Reportedly Discussed

iShowSpeed may not be finished with WWE, as a new report suggests the company is considering bringing him back for a high-profile appearance at WrestleMania 42.

According to BodySlam.net on March 25, 2026, WWE has internally discussed the possibility of featuring the popular content creator during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas. With the event now less than four weeks away, the company is said to be exploring ways to include major names, and Speed is reportedly among those being considered.

“We are currently less than 4 weeks away from WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. WWE is once again looking to bring the stars to the show. Sources indicate to Bodyslam that discussions have taken place regarding iShowSpeed making an appearance at WrestleMania this year.”

This update comes shortly after Speed’s appearance on the March 23 episode of WWE RAW, where he was involved in a backstage segment with Danhausen. The interaction took a comedic turn, with Danhausen placing a “curse” on Speed after a rejected request. While it initially appeared to be a one-off segment, the new report suggests it could have been the start of a larger plan tied to WrestleMania.

WWE has a long history of integrating celebrities into its biggest events, and Speed fits that approach. With a massive social media following across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch, he brings significant visibility that aligns with WWE’s strategy for major shows.

At this stage, no official announcement has been made regarding his involvement. However, the timing of his WWE RAW appearance and the reported internal discussions indicate that the company could be preparing for another crossover moment at WrestleMania 42.

If confirmed, Speed’s presence would add to WWE’s continued focus on mainstream appeal during its biggest weekend of the year.

Kelani Jordan Eyes WWE Main Roster Titles and Becky Lynch Match

Kelani Jordan Eyes WWE Main Roster Titles and Becky Lynch Match

Kelani Jordan has shared her goals for a potential WWE main roster call-up, making it clear that she is ready for the next step and already targeting championship gold.

Jordan, who has become a consistent presence on WWE NXT, previously held the NXT Women’s North American Championship and also captured the TNA Knockouts Championship through the WWE and TNA partnership. During an appearance on Busted Open, she spoke about moving to RAW or SmackDown and the opportunities that would come with it.

“I would love to go to the main roster, I would love to be able to be on a bigger platform- but also be able to wrestle girls who are on that next level. I would love that, RAW, SmackDown, I’m ready. Of course, if the NXT Women’s Championship is in my future, that’s great, but if the main roster is next, I have my eyes on the US Championship, the Intercontinental (Championship).”

Jordan also addressed whether she needs to win the NXT Women’s Championship before moving up. She pointed to past examples to show that it is not a requirement.

“I think you can jump over that championship, because we’ve seen girls do it before. Becky (Lynch) was in NXT, she didn’t win the championship, actually when she came back is when she got the championship. There’s also other superstars, like greats, who never won the NXT Women’s Championship, and they’re prospering and thriving on the main roster.”

She referenced Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair as examples of top stars who reached major success without holding the NXT Women’s Championship during their initial runs.

Jordan also made it clear that she is interested in facing Lynch in the ring, praising her in-ring ability and presence.

“I would love to wrestle Becky. Becky is a smooth worker. I just feel like the way that she moves in the ring, her footwork, the way that she can just bring it out of her opponents. When I was fairly new in NXT, I saw her bring it out of Tiffany, I saw her bring it out of Lyra, I would love to just be across the ring from someone who is so passionate, who is so good. Even in promos, she just brings that fire out of you, and I would love that!”

With confidence in her abilities and clear goals in mind, Jordan appears ready for a move beyond NXT, whether that includes chasing titles or stepping into the ring with some of WWE’s top names.
