NXT Ratings Report for June 9 Shows Slight Viewership Dip but Demo Growth

WWE NXT saw a small decline in overall viewership but a notable increase in the key demographic for its June 9 episode on The CW Network. The latest data highlights mixed performance trends as the show continues its 2026 run.

According to Wrestlenomics, NXT averaged 548,000 viewers for the June 9 broadcast. This figure represents a 1 percent drop compared to the June 2 episode, which drew 556,000 viewers. Despite the week-to-week dip, the show performed better than its recent trend, coming in 4 percent above the trailing four-week average of 529,000 viewers.

WWE NXT ratings June 9 2026 viewership and demo analysis

In the 18-49 demographic, NXT posted a 0.09 rating, which is up from the 0.07 rating recorded the previous week. That marks a 29 percent increase week-over-week and places the show 50 percent above its trailing four-week average of 0.06 in the same category.

The total P2+ audience for the episode was 548,000, which is also 3 percent higher than the median of the last four non-preemption episodes. Within that number, approximately 123,000 viewers came from the 18-49 demographic, reflecting a 39 percent increase compared to recent norms. Meanwhile, viewers outside that key demo totaled around 425,000, showing a slight 3 percent decline.

Looking at broader trends, NXT’s quarterly performance remains below last year’s levels. The current Q2 2026 average stands at 562,000 viewers, down 17 percent from the Q2 2025 average of 678,000. June 2026 is also tracking lower year-over-year, with a 552,000 average compared to 700,000 in June 2025, marking a 21 percent decrease.

The same pattern appears in the 18-49 demographic. NXT’s Q2 2026 average rating of 0.08 is down 47 percent from 0.15 in Q2 2025. For June specifically, the average remains at 0.08, which is a 50 percent drop compared to 0.16 during the same month last year.

It is important to note that ratings comparisons are impacted by changes in measurement methods. Starting September 26, 2025, viewership data has been tracked using Nielsen’s “Big Data + Panel” system instead of the previous panel-only approach. This shift coincided with lower reported numbers across wrestling programming. A later update to Nielsen’s methodology in January 2026, which affected cable telecasts, contributed to a general increase in measured audiences.

Charlotte Flair vs Jade Cargill Match Considered for WWE SummerSlam 2026

Charlotte Flair vs Jade Cargill Match Considered for WWE SummerSlam 2026

Charlotte Flair’s path to WWE SummerSlam 2026 may not be as straightforward as previously suggested. While Flair recently made it clear she intends to challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship at the August 1 and 2 premium live event, a new report indicates that WWE could take a different direction.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE creative has internally discussed a singles match between Flair and Jade Cargill for SummerSlam. At one stage, the bout was reportedly penciled into the card, though plans remain subject to change as the event approaches.

Charlotte Flair Jade Cargill WWE SummerSlam match plans

The idea of Flair facing Cargill has been building for quite some time. Their first teased interaction dates back to October 2023, shortly after Cargill arrived in WWE. During a backstage segment on SmackDown, Flair acknowledged Cargill and hinted that a future showdown between them was inevitable.

Since then, WWE has continued to subtly develop tension between the two. On multiple occasions, Flair and Cargill exchanged looks on SmackDown, signaling unresolved issues. Cargill also made it clear she sees herself at the top of the division, once telling Flair to move to the back of the line in the title picture.

Their rivalry escalated further at WWE Clash In Italy. Flair played a key role in helping Rhea Ripley retain the WWE Women’s Championship against Cargill. That moment added another layer to the growing friction between Flair and Cargill, making a one-on-one match a logical next step.

WrestleVotes added that WWE officials currently view SummerSlam as the ideal stage for this match to finally take place. Even so, the report stressed that creative plans can change at any time.

Flair and Cargill also shared the ring earlier this year during the May 2026 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where they competed in a six-woman tag team match. That appearance further advanced their on-screen dynamic.

While Flair has publicly set her sights on Ripley’s title, the possibility of a high-profile non-title match against Cargill remains firmly on the table as WWE continues to finalize the SummerSlam lineup.

TNA Impact 6/11/2026: 3 Things We Hated & 3 Things We Loved

Tonight’s “TNA Impact” marked the beginning of a new set of tapings, which took place recently in Denver, Colorado. The company has been in the headlines as of late, and not always in the best light. Tonight’s show marked an opportunity to set things in the right direction, but it mostly felt like business as usual.Mike Santana pinning Eric YoungRicky Sosa wearing a black t-shirtMustafa Ali holds KC Navarro in a submission TNA Wrestling

Mustafa Ali played the villain role perfectly leading into his main event International title defense against KC Navarro, with the challenger dedicating the bout to his late uncle. Prior to the match, Ali said he was going to make his opponent quit like his uncle did, which coupled with a brief backstage segment between Navaro and Nic Nemeth as well as TNA World Champion Mike Santana – Ryan Nemeth was also there – where he asked for their help if and presumably when Order Four got involved.

That built both the storylines between Santana and Nemeth, due to wrestle for the World Championship at Slammivesary after Nemeth called his shot earlier in the night, as well as Navarro and Ali’s eventual clash in the main event. Navarro was the plucky, almost Rey Mysterio-esque babyface coming into his challenge, and he came into the affair with fast-paced and high-flying offense to match that. Ali, despite being a former cruiserweight, was the much larger opponent and grounded things, gradually asphyxiating the energy that Navarro brought.

Navarro got multiple near-falls on Ali and continued to work towards an upset, only to have his legs pulled from beneath him and tied up in a Sharpshooter. Nowhere to go, no other answer than to tap out, and Ali continues a reign characterized by fast and furious defenses. After the match though, as predicted, Ali continued his attack on Navarro, cinching in another Sharpshooter, as Order Four got involved. That then prompted Nemeth to come out and confront them, being joined by the World Champion as promised, even if reluctant.

They cleared the ring of Order Four and then, to the surprise of Santana, Nemeth saved him from an Ali belt-shot with a superkick. Santana gave him a nod of respect, turned to check on Navarro once more, and left the opening for a Danger Zone outta nowhere. Complete with a Randy Orton-esque annoyance at following through with the impulse. That was truly a main event segment, both in the match and what came afterward.
