AEW Dynamite & Collision Results 5/27 – Lights Out Philadelphia Street Fight, MJF Appears

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” on May 27, 2026, coming to you live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at a special run time of 3 hours!

MJF became a three time AEW World Champion at AEW Double or Nothing this past Sunday, dethroning Darby Allin in a Title vs. Hair Match to put an end to his 39 day reign. The closing moments of the match saw Allin fly off the top of scaffolding at the top of the entrance tunnel only for MJF to respond with a Tombstone off the ropes and TNT Champion Kevin Knight to attack Allin in the moments that followed the match as Allin was being stretchered out. Not only will MJF be hosting an AEW World Championship celebration for himself, but Knight will be making an appearance on tonight’s show with something on his mind to share.

Kris Statlander will be going head-to-head with her former friend Hikaru Shida in a Lights Out Philadelphia Street Fight. Statlander previously ignored warnings from the likes of Harley Cameron and Mina Shirakawa about their wariness as to whether or not Shida could be trusted. Things between the two women culminated this past Sunday at Double or Nothing when they both took part in an AEW Women’s World Championship Four-Way Match that also involved The Brawling Birds’ Jamie Hayter and titleholder Thekla, during which Shida cracked her signature kendo stick across Statlander’s spine while Statlander had Thekla pinned.

Moments after Konosuke Takeshita dethroned The Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada at Double or Nothing, Kyle Fletcher made his return to AEW from injury and blindsided Takeshita with an attack to kick him out of The Don Callis Family alongside Don Callis, Rocky Romero, and Mark Davis that ended in Fletcher hitting Takeshita with the International Championship belt. Following such, Fletcher and Callis will be sitting down with AEW backstage interviewer and host Renee Paquette.

Ricochet holds a win against Jericho in singles competition from AEW Dynasty on April 12, but Jericho has his chance to seek retribution tonight when the two men square off against one another with anyone else being barred from ringside. Tensions between the two men have been on the rise over the course of the last several weeks, with Jericho, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Perry, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kenny Omega emerging victorious against Ricochet, Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun, David Finlay, Clark Connors, the aforementioned Davis, and Andrade El Idolo in a Fourteen Man Stadium Stampede Match.

Speaking of Perry and Davis, they will be squaring off against one another tonight in a Quarterfinals Match for the 2026 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament. Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay both advanced to the semifinals at Double or Nothing, defeating Bandido and The Opps’ Samoa Joe respectively in a pair of quarterfinals matches.

Territorial Star ‘Golden Boy’ Jerry Grey Dies At 62 After Battle With Cancer

It was another sad day for professional wrestling on Monday, as it says goodbye to one of the more colorful names of wrestling’s territory days. In a Facebook post, the Cauliflower Alley Club announced that “Golden Boy” Jerry Grey, who also wrestled under the name Guru, Mega Maharishi, and Might Yankee #1, had passed away from cancer at the age of 62, just 45 days shy of his 63rd birthday.

Grey was a protege of Boris Malenko, father of former WCW/ECW/WWE star Dean Malenko, and Louis Tillet, debuting for Tillet’s Sunbelt Wrestling promotion on September 14, 1981. He quickly became an in-demand territory wrestler, working for promotions such as Georgia Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, Mid-South Wrestling, and Memphis’ Continental Wrestling Association, where he donned a mask to portray his Guu and Mega Maharishi personas. He would also tour Japan in 1988, and worked a few matches for WWE as an enhancement talent.

Singles success eluded Grey for much of his career, though he did hold the NWA Florida Bahamian Championship in 1986. Instead, is greatest success came as a tag wrestler, first with Tom Prichard in Portland Wrestling, where the duo won the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championships in 1984, and with Bob Cook as The Mighty Yankees for Championship Wrestling of Florida in 1987.

“We laughed, we fought, we chased dreams together… and somehow, through it all, we created memories that time can never take away,” Cook wrote in CAC’s Facebook post. “This one hurts deeply. The ring feels a little emptier today, and so does my heart. We send our sincerest condolences to his family and friends during this most difficult time, may the memories of the good times carry us all through. Rest easy, my friend. Thank you for the memories, the miles, and the brotherhood. You will be greatly missed… but never forgotten. Your partner, always, love you.”

Wrestling Inc. offers its condolences to Grey’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Brooke Hogan Claims Nurse Present During Hulk Hogan’s Death Has Vanished

Brooke Hogan has made explosive new claims surrounding the aftermath of her father Hulk Hogan’s death, accusing those around him of shutting her out of key details while also questioning how his autopsy and estate were handled.

Appearing on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show alongside attorney Jay, Brooke opened up about the emotional and legal battle she says she has faced since Hulk Hogan died in July 2025 at the age of 71. Hogan’s death was officially ruled natural causes after suffering a heart attack while dealing with atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

One of Brooke’s biggest frustrations centered around the autopsy process, which she claimed remains unresolved nearly a year later.

“Why are we making changes to an autopsy after the guy’s been dead for ten, eleven months?” Brooke asked. “If it’s so on the up and up, shut me up. Just show it to me.”

Brooke also questioned why Hogan’s personal doctor reportedly signed the death certificate instead of the emergency room physician who was allegedly on duty at the time.

“It’s almost like you have to be skilled in the art of doing it,” Brooke said. “If there’s nothing to hide, there’s nothing to hide.”

Attorney Jay, who described himself as a medical malpractice lawyer with 30 years of experience, said the circumstances raised serious concerns in his view.

“I’ve never heard of a situation where the doctor whose patient died came in and did the time of death,” Jay stated. “I’ve never in my entire life heard of that.”

Brooke further claimed that the nurse who was reportedly present at the home on the day Hogan died has since disappeared and cannot be contacted.

The interview also shifted toward the Netflix documentary about Hogan’s life, which Brooke criticized for avoiding the more controversial and painful aspects of his legacy.

“It was a great showpiece. But did they dive into anything deep? Absolutely not,” Brooke said.

She added that the documentary painted Hogan as a heroic figure while ignoring the scandals and strained family relationships that shaped much of his later years.

“They made this documentary, and it’s almost like in Men in Black they flashed people’s memory,” Brooke stated. “Yes, some parts of him he was a really great guy. But we didn’t touch on what made him human.”

Brooke also revealed she voluntarily stepped away from her position as co-executor of Hogan’s estate, claiming she trusted her brother Nick Hogan to handle matters fairly after he promised to “take care” of her. According to Brooke, that never happened.

“I can’t get a belt, I can’t get anything,” Brooke said while discussing Hogan memorabilia. “I would never sell anything of my dad’s.”

The emotional interview concluded with both Brooke and Bubba hinting that there are still secrets they have chosen not to reveal publicly out of respect for Hogan and others involved.
