UFC’s Dana White Says He Will Be Promoting Anthony Joshua Vs. Tyson Fury

One of the biggest boxing matches to never happen is Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua, but 2026 might be the year where two of the biggest names in British boxing finally get in the ring to settle their score. The fight was reported to be taking place towards the end of 2026, and one man who seems to have a ventured interest in the showdown is UFC President Dana White.

During a recent live stream by influencer Nina Drama, White revealed that he is going to be the one promoting the Fury/Joshua fight, likely through Zuffa boxing.

Since that live stream, boxing promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have come out publicly and said that White will not be the promoter for that fight, with Warren claiming that Fury’s current contract wouldn’t allow Zuffa to promote the fight to begin with. White was asked about this at the UFC 328 post-show press conference, to which he said Warren’s comments were interesting. “Let’s see what happens. Do I ever say s*** that really isn’t true, that doesn’t happen?”

Later in the press conference, White also responded to the comments made by Hearn where he called the UFC President a “Clout Chaser” who won’t be promoting Fury/Joshua because it’s contractually impossible. White didn’t mince his words in responding. “I’m a clout chaser? This fruit loop came out and said he’s the f****** biggest fight in boxing, while he had Bam Rodriguez and AJ and all these other fighters, and all these other guys that are out there, he’s the biggest fight in boxing. Those were his words. You know what a f****** fruit loop you’ve got to be to f****** say that? Nobody knew who this guy was four months ago, and now he’s the biggest fight in boxing?

Since UFC 328, Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN has reportedly had multiple sources confirm that White will in fact not be the promoter for the Fury/Joshua fight, and that both men have it written in their contracts that if White, TKO, or anything to do with Zuffa had a hand in promoting the fight, they wouldn’t make the walk to the ring.

Darkstate Get WWE NXT Tag Title Rematch, Despite Dissension

The Vanity Project’s Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor will put the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line next week after they were confronted by DarkState on Tuesday’s edition of “WWE NXT” after Jackson Drake defeated Noam Dar.

DarkState came out after the bout and demanded their rematch for the gold. Despite the ongoing dissension in the faction, Cutler James and Osiris Griffin deemed that Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars will be the ones facing Smokes and Baylor, as they need to get themselves together and back on the same page for DarkState to get back on top of “NXT.” The stable told Vanity Project they couldn’t object, as “NXT” General Manager Robert Stone had already agreed to the match for next week.

Last week, Griffin and James seemed to set themselves up for the title match after defeating Hank & Tank. The last time Vanity Project defended the titles on television was Stand & Deliver back at the beginning of April, where they defeated Los Americanos. The match has been the team’s only televised defense since winning the gold from DarkState on February 24.

AEW’s Bobby Lashley Has A Lot Of Ideas For New Hurt Syndicate Members

In WWE as The Hurt Business, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley were accompanied by Cedric Alexander, making their team a full stable with a manager instead of the setup they have as The Hurt Syndicate in AEW, where MVP is oftentimes their third member when he doesn’t manage them.

The group briefly had MVP as a fourth member, but based on Lashley’s comments while on “The Danny Ocean Show,” the group is actively looking to fill the fourth spot.

“There’s some great talent on the AEW roster that could probably fit in with us really well,” he stated, singling out Kevin Knight who is currently teaming with Mike Bailey as JetSpeed. “That kid is on fire! He’s young, he’s impressive, he looks great in the ring! I mean, he can do it all right now.”

Lashley then admitted that THS also looked at recruiting Swerve Strickland for some time, and while things didn’t work in the end, they still have their eye on him.

“There’s so many guys in the roster that could benefit from being with us,” he added. “Another person that’s there, that’s getting pulled in a bunch of different angles right now is Will Ospreay.”

Lashley noted that while Will Ospreay seems to be in high demand, THS should also be one of the stables vying for his attention. While Lashley has his eye on many AEW talents, he highlighted something that could be a legitimate problem for his stable.

“I think the problem that we have right now is that The Hurt Syndicate is too strong,” he claimed. “If we bring those guys on there, we’d be just unstoppable!” In light of The New Day’s WWE departure, Lashley proclaimed that if they end up being AEW-bound, he’ll do everything he can to get them into the group.

Wyatt Sicks Set For WrestleCon Reunion Following WWE Releases

Wyatt Sicks Set For Reunion Appearance Following WWE Releases

Former members of WWE’s Wyatt Sicks faction are already moving forward with a high-profile appearance just weeks after their release from the company. The group is scheduled to reunite during SummerSlam weekend, marking their first confirmed booking together since WWE ended the faction and released its members.

WWE quietly wrapped up the Wyatt Sicks storyline following WrestleMania 42 as part of broader roster cuts. The group was officially released on April 24, 2026, amid TKO restructuring changes that affected multiple talents across the roster.

Wyatt Sicks Set For WrestleCon Reunion

WrestleCon has now confirmed that the former Wyatt Sicks members will appear together for a three-day event in Minneapolis, running from July 31 through August 2. Advertised for the appearance are Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy. The convention promoted the reunion by emphasizing that, despite the group heading in separate directions, they will come back together for the full weekend, with group photo opportunities available each day.

The announcement also confirmed that several of the released WWE stars will revert to their previous or real names going forward. Bo Dallas will now compete as Taylor Rotunda, while Nikki Cross returns to the Nikki Storm name she used prior to WWE. Dexter Lumis is once again Samuel Shaw, Erick Rowan will go by Erick Redbeard, and Joe Gacy is now Joseph Sawyer.

The Wyatt Sicks faction debuted in June 2024 and quickly gained attention for its dark presentation, drawing inspiration from the late Bray Wyatt. Led by Bo Dallas in the Uncle Howdy role, the group became known for its eerie promos and unique segments that stood out on WWE programming.

In terms of in-ring success, the faction found early momentum. Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis captured the WWE Tag Team Championships in July 2025 and held the titles for several months. However, as time went on, reports indicated that WWE faced challenges maintaining consistent creative direction for the group, which ultimately led to its quiet conclusion.

Their upcoming WrestleCon appearance now gives fans an early opportunity to see the group reunited, even as each member begins the next phase of their career outside WWE.

Izzi asked Niko to stay while Spears walked off. She said if Lola was watching that match… then she was watching Lola.

Mason Rook — Contract Segment

Robert Stone stood in the ring with a contract in hand and security lined across the apron. He said the landscape of NXT had changed — talent from all over the world wanted to make NXT their home. Tonight, he was bringing out someone whose new home would be NXT. Stone introduced Mason Rook.

Mason asked, “Who is Mason Rook?” He said he’d traveled all over Europe, been to Japan, been everywhere — and everywhere he went, he turned heads. John Cena noticed him. And why wouldn’t he? It’s hard not to notice a flying human tank. But was he satisfied with people talking about him in pubs? Was he satisfied going viral a few times? He said he wasn’t. He wanted more.

That’s why he came to NXT. He said he wasn’t the best super‑heavyweight — he was the best any weight. And whoever stepped in the ring with him would learn that when you stand in front of a tank, you get crushed.

Tony D’Angelo’s music hit. Stone begged him not to do it.

Tony said Mason wanted his attention — and now he had it. You attack him once, you’re seizing the moment. Twice? Not so much. If Mason thought he was going to make his name at Tony’s expense…

Rook signed the contract while Stone protested that this wasn’t how they did things.

Emily Agard joined Bronco Nima and Lucien Price for a barbecue. She asked them who they really were beyond the ring.

Bronco introduced Emily to his brother. Emily asked Lucien to share something about Bronco that would surprise people. Lucien said Bronco took care of him after their mother passed away.

Bronco said his mother taught him that manhood was about responsibility. When she was gone, he had to answer the call, and his brother never had to worry about who was by his side. That’s what he deals with when opportunity meets responsibility.

Emily asked JJ what OTM meant. He said it meant overcoming adversity.

Emily then asked Bronco something about Lucien. Bronco said people didn’t see that Lucien was quiet and intelligent — and that he was an artist.

Emily asked if the goal was tag team gold. Bronco told her to come back with championship questions after they beat Vanity Project.

Myles told him it was actually him and Tony.

Tavion brought up last week’s match. He said it was cool when they needed it, but now that Myles was the champion, he’d forgotten him. Tavion said he hoped Tony would be there for Myles the way he would’ve been.

Dark State, Cutler & Osiris, Vanity Project — In‑Ring Confrontation

Dark State stood in the ring as Dion said the champions looked far too comfortable with those titles. They were here to remind everyone who was in control. Saquon said it was all about control — and Cutler and Osiris didn’t have any. He asked Dion if he saw what they did to Hank and Tank last week.

Ricky fired back, asking if they really thought beating Hank and Tank earned them a title match. Brad said they had no shot. Vanity Project were the ones who took the titles from them, and that was why Saquon and Dion had been at each other’s throats for weeks. They didn’t hand out opportunities.

Cutler said they never got their rematch, so they were cashing in. Stone had already approved it, and they were winning the tag titles next week. But it wouldn’t be him and Osiris — they needed to get back on top, and they needed to be united. This was on them. Osiris added that Vanity Project had their own match coming up. When they were on the same page, nobody could touch them. Get the titles back, or Dark State would have to change.

Dion and Saquon suddenly shoved Ricky and Brad off the apron, sending Vanity Project crashing to the floor.

Backstage — Robert Stone, Naraku, Mason Rook, Cam Hendrix, Tate Wilder, and Keanu Carver

Stone told Naraku he wanted to sit down with him soon to talk about his future. Naraku thanked him.

Tate Wilder showed up and thanked Stone for his NXT debut. He didn’t get the win, but he learned, and he said he was ready for next week.

Keanu Carver stepped in and said he was done talking to people.

Stone responded by giving Tate a match against Keanu next week.

After the match, Lola checked on Wren and Kendal shoved her. Izzi attacked Lola from behind.

We went to credits.

–– Here is what’s in store for tonight’s show ––

  • Singles Match: Kelani Jordan vs. Kendal Grey
  • Singles Match: Noam Dar vs. Jackson Drake
  • 6-Man Tag Team Match: Sean Legacy, Tate Wilder and EK Prosper vs. BirthRight (Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo)
  • Tag Team Match: ZARIA and Nikkita Lyons vs. NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain
  • Naraku will make his in-ring debut

NXT Preview – May 12, 2026

Zaria teams with Nikkita Lyons tonight as they face Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain in tag team action. After Zaria declared her intention to challenge for the Women’s North American Championship last week, Rain stepped forward to make her own ambitions clear. That confrontation drew out Lyons — who Rain defeated on the April 28 NXT — and the situation erupted into a four‑woman brawl. Now, all four competitors meet officially with championship implications hanging over the division.

Naraku (formerly EVIL) steps into a WWE ring for the first time tonight. His arrival on April 28 came moments before a chaotic fight broke out involving NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, Tavion Heights, and Mason Rook. With his intentions still unclear, Naraku’s in‑ring debut is expected to shed light on where he stands in the NXT landscape.

Kendal Grey returns to singles competition as she takes on former Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan. Jordan scored a win over Grey’s WrenQCC partner and current Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair on April 28, giving tonight’s matchup added personal stakes for Grey.

Noam Dar competes on NXT for the first time since losing the Heritage Cup on the April 22, 2025 episode. He faces Jackson Drake of Vanity Project, who recently welcomed Myca Lockwood into the group. Dar stepped in last week when Romeo Moreno found himself cornered in a backstage confrontation with Vanity Project, setting the stage for tonight’s clash.

In six‑man tag team action, Lexis King, Uriah Connors, and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo of Birthright take on EK Prosper, Tate Wilder, and Sean Legacy. With tensions between Birthright and Prosper’s circle escalating in recent weeks, this matchup continues a rivalry that has been spreading across multiple divisions.
