Grayson Waller Details Locker Room Gift Bought By Finn Balor When WWE Visited Ireland

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller has been known to make his fellow stars do a “shoey,” a ritual native to his home country of Australia where folks drink out of their shoe to celebrate, but on a recent episode of “A Shot of Brandi” alongside Brandi Rhodes, the former New Day member told a story of a much different celebration when WWE was in Belfast, Northern Ireland in January.

“Recently, we were in Belfast for ‘Raw’ and Finn Balor, great brother, got us a Guinness keg for the locker room,” he explained. Rhodes said that dark beers, like Guinness, are where “you lose her,” to which Waller disagreed, simply due to the atmosphere at the time.

“Okay, but it was in the locker room. Physically in the locker room with a tap,” he explained. “That’s the greatest locker room I’ve ever been into in my entire life. So, we just sat and watched the main event, him and [CM] Punk and we drank all his Guinness before he got back. So, shout out Finn Balor. Thanks for the free beers, lad.”

Balor faced off against then-World Heavyweight Champion Punk for the title in his native Ireland. He lost the match, but continued the feud, resulting in another bout on the “Second City Saint’s” home turf of Chicago at Elimination Chamber the following month. Balor lost again, but both matches helped kickstart his departure from Judgment Day, after wanting to prove he could go at things alone.

John Cena Announces New WWE Event, Championship With Unique Rules At Backlash 2026

John Cena returned to WWE at Backlash to announce a new show and a new title all wrapped in one as the “John Cena Classic.”

Cena retired at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December with a loss to GUNTHER, but on the same night Oba Femi made his first appearance on a main roster show with a match against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Cena addressed that night and the months since during the segment on Saturday, how Femi has gone on from that night of opportunity and now sits atop “WWE Raw” as the man who retired Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.

He said he wanted to keep that going and provide the same platform for the future to perform and showcase themselves opposite the current, with “WWE NXT” and main roster stars competing against one another, and said that the new “John Cena Classic” will deliver that with the input of fans themselves. He said that no matter the results in the ring, fans would be able to choose the champion.

Cena did not reveal anything further or have a manifestation of the title to unveil on the night.

IYO SKY & Asuka Hug It Out After SKY Earns Victory At WWE Backlash 2026

Nobody is ready for Asuka, unless you’re IYO SKY. At Saturday’s “WWE Backlash” event, two of WWE’s finest Japanese wrestlers and former friends took to the ring to settle their months-long feud, and by the time it was all over, SKY came out of Tampa with a victory to her name, and, shockingly, a place in Asuka’s good graces once more.

Asuka and SKY wasted no time. The two of them immediately took to the canvas for some mat work before SKY began to run her usual flips around Asuka. A trip to the outside, however, quickly stopped SKY’s fun, as Asuka bashed her into the metal post. Asuka continued to attempt to wear down her former protege with ruthless efficiency, and while SKY managed to close the gap between her and Asuka every single time, the constant offense left her in a heap after every comeback.

Another trip to the outside nearly ended SKY, as Asuka looked to send her through the announce table. When her attempts failed, however, Asuka went for the mist — only to be stopped by SKY, armed with a notepad to block the venom from her face. Asuka, shocked, became paralyzed, and SKY capitalized by sweeping Asuka off the table and into position for a springboard moonsault.

While SKY dealt some major damage to Asuka, the former women’s world champion still had gas in the tank. Asuka cinched several gruesome variations of the Asuka Lock onto SKY, but SKY, even moments from unconsciousness, managed to wriggle and worm her way to her feet. SKY cinched in her victory with a Bullet Train/Over the Moonsault for the win, but where other competitors would have bragged, SKY instead bowed deeply to her opponent and cruel enemy.

Asuka, in tears, embraced SKY as the segment ended. There was no mention of the recently-released Kairi Sane throughout the matchup, apart from a single reference to the Kabuki Warriors by Michael Cole on commentary.

UFC 328 Results: Strickland Vs. Chimaev

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage of UFC 328, headlined by Khamzat Chimaev versus Sean Strickland and emanating from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Chimaev will be defending the UFC Middleweight Championship for the first time since claiming it from Dricus Du Plessis in August last year, looking to extend his unblemished 15-0 record to 16-0 in MMA – he is 9-0 in UFC specifically. He will be fighting a personal rival, someone he trained with at Xtreme Couture, and a former Middleweight Champion in his own right in Strickland.

Strickland won the title from Israel Adesanya in September 2023, losing it in his first defense the following January to Du Plessis, and failing to recapture the title in February last year. He beat Anthony Hernandez in February to secure the fight this weekend.

Chimaev’s will not be the only title on the line, as Joshua Van will be defending his UFC Flyweight Championship against Tatsuro Taira in the co-main event. They were originally scheduled to fight at UFC 327, but the fight was postponed after Van sustained an injury.

Prior to that, the main card will kick off with lightweight action between King Green and Jeremy Stephens, followed by Sean Brady versus Joaquin Buckley at welterweight, and then a heavyweight bout between Alexander Volkov and Waldo Cortes Acosta.

UFC 328 will stream via Paramount+ in the US with the main card due to begin at 9 PM ET. The early preliminaries begin at 5 PM ET and the preliminaries begin at 7 PM ET.

Danhausen Reveals Mystery Partner, Gets Win Over Miz & Kit Wilson At WWE Backlash 2026

Danhausen and his “mystery partner,” turned “partners,” defeated The Miz and Kit Wilson at WWE Backlash. While many fans had suspected CM Punk or even Jelly Roll to team with the “Very Nice, Very Evil” one, it was a Minihausen who joined up with Danhausen to score the victory. In a latter part of the match, the rest of the Minihausen gang from WrestleMania 42 were introduced to help lead them to victory.

Before Danhausen’s music hit, the arena went dark and the box where he attempted to make his “clone” during “WWE SmackDown” was wheeled out. Danhausen opened the box to reveal his partner. Wilson and Minihausen started off the match, and Minihausen cleared house with hurricanranas to both his opponents. He got on Danhausen’s shoulders and jumped from the apron to take out both Miz and Wilson.

Miz took out Danhausen on the outside by sending him into the ring post, and Wilson took control of Minihausen in the ring. Minihausen fought out of the tree of woe, and hit a top rope moonsault to Wilson. The teams fought back and forth until Wilson went up the ramp, followed by Minihausen, and he put Minihausen back in the box and closed the door. The box lit up, and out came the rest of the Minihausens.

Back in the ring, Danhausen’s partner put Wilson on his shoulders and hit an airplane spin. He tried to curse Wilson, but he held up a mirror, and Minihausen took a Skull Crushing Finale. Danhausen broke up the pin, then as the legal man, took out both his opponents. Miz tried to get a fire extinguisher on the outside, but ended up blasting himself with it. Danhausen took out Miz with a pump kick, after Minihausen flew from the top to take out Wilson, for the victory.
