Hulk Hogan Docuseries Tops WWE RAW in Netflix Viewership

Hulk Hogan Docuseries Tops WWE RAW in Netflix Viewership

The new Hulk Hogan Real American docuseries on Netflix has outperformed WWE RAW in global viewership for the second straight week.

According to Netflix’s Tudum rankings, the four-part series — co-produced by WWE — drew 3.1 million global viewers in its second week. That number marks an increase from its debut, which generated three million viewers.

The series also maintained its position as the fifth most-watched English-language show globally, while recording 12.9 million hours viewed during the same period.

The performance of the docuseries placed it ahead of the April 27 episode of WWE Raw, which brought in 2.8 million global viewers over seven days. RAW ranked sixth overall for the week and accumulated 5.2 million global hours viewed.

While RAW continues to perform consistently on the platform, the comparison highlights the strong interest in the Hogan-focused series, particularly as it builds momentum in its second week.

The docuseries centers on Hulk Hogan and explores key moments from his career, offering a deeper look at one of wrestling’s most recognizable figures. Its continued presence near the top of Netflix’s global rankings reflects sustained viewer engagement beyond its initial release.

For WWE, the success of the series represents another example of how its content is performing across streaming platforms, even outside of its weekly programming schedule.

At the same time, RAW’s placement within the top ten globally shows that the weekly show remains a consistent draw, particularly following the WrestleMania 42 season and ongoing storylines involving top stars.

The gap between the two programs is not large, but it is notable given that RAW is a long-running weekly show while the Hogan series is a limited docuseries release.

As both continue to rank within Netflix’s global charts, the data provides a clear snapshot of how different types of WWE-related content are performing on the platform.

Emily Agard Joins WWE NXT Broadcast Team

Emily Agard Joins NXT Broadcast Team

WWE has added a new voice to its broadcast lineup, with Canadian sports host Emily Agard confirming that she has officially signed with the company.

Agard shared the news on social media, announcing that she will be part of the WWE NXT broadcast team. The move marks a transition from traditional sports media into professional wrestling, following more than four years with Sportsnet.

Emily Agard WWE NXT role

“Dreams do come true! SO excited and beyond grateful to be joining the @WWE broadcast team. If you know me, you know this has been a huge goal of mine and an absolute dream. I love wrestling. Cannot wait to dive right in. Let’s get to work!”

Agard’s addition continues a trend of WWE bringing in experienced broadcasters with strong ties to Sportsnet. She becomes the fourth on-air personality from the network to make the move, joining names such as Renee Paquette, Arda Ocal, and Jackie Redmond.

Her connection to WWE is not new. Agard has been open about her fandom on social media and has attended NXT tapings earlier this year. She was also involved in WWE programming during the WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 event held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, where she worked as a Social Media Ambassador and appeared across both WWE and Sportsnet digital platforms.

During her time at Sportsnet, Agard covered major sports stories, including reporting on the Toronto Blue Jays. She also hosted recurring segments such as “Misplays of the Month” and “Plays of the Month,” building a profile as a versatile on-air personality.

Her move to WWE comes after the company’s programming shift in Canada, where Sportsnet previously held exclusive broadcasting rights for a decade before WWE transitioned to Netflix in 2025.

Agard’s signing reflects WWE’s continued investment in its broadcast presentation, particularly within NXT, where new talent is introduced both in the ring and on the production side.

Royce Keys Teases Union With WWE’s Bloodline: ‘I’ve Known That Family’ For A While

Over the past few weeks, Royce Keys has continued to dominate on “WWE SmackDown,” as he’s defeated all of his opponents in three minutes or less and became the Andre The Giant Memorial 2026 Battle Royal winner last month before WrestleMania 42. So far, Keys has been focused on building his resume on a singles level, but he’s already expressed interest in working with one of WWE’s most successful wrestling families.

Speaking on “Unseen with Joey Karni,” Keys revealed that many members of The Bloodline are some of his real-life friends and named who from the family he’d like to work with in the future.

“Jacob Fatu and I have a history together. I’ve known that family for quite a while. So, the Usos, Solo, I’ve known that family a long time. So, there is some history there.”

During their time on the independent wrestling scene, Keys and Fatu fought against and alongside each other for years. Throughout the 2010s, both men often teamed together in the company All Pro Wrestling before going their separate ways. Following his final year in APW, Keys signed with All Elite Wrestling while Fatu took his talents to Major League Wrestling and many other indie promotions before joining WWE in 2024.

This past Friday on “SmackDown,” Keys and Fatu shared their first interaction together on WWE television, where the former AEW star reflected on knowing “The Samoan Werewolf” for 15 years and motivated him to dethrone Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash this upcoming weekend.

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL Gets New Name, WWE NXT Debut Set

Following his debut during last week’s “WWE NXT” to confront reigning NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, former NJPW star EVIL has officially been renamed Naraku and confirmed to be appearing next Tuesday.

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion finished up in Japan in January after dropping the NEVER Openweight Championship to Aaron Wolf at Wrestle Kingdom – though his last match came the following night at New Year’s Dash! in trios action. Later that month, NJPW confirmed he would not be renewing his contract and thus ensued speculation over his future.

He put an end to that speculation when he emerged to confront the NXT Champion last week, although he was never explicitly referred to by a name, least of all the one he’d been known as for 11 years.

Tuesday’s show answered that question with a vignette designed to promote his arrival during next week’s show. During which, he addressed D’Angelo and made it clear he wants the title he is in possession of. The vignette closed with the writing: “Naraku debuts next week.”

Naraku in Japanese translates to “Abyss,” though it is unknown whether that’s a deliberate nod to the WWE Producer and TNA Hall of Famer of the same moniker, Joseph Park. Naraku is also the name of a character in the “Inuyasha” manga series.

4/27 WWE RAW Viewership Drops After WrestleMania Bump

4/27 WWE RAW Viewership Drops After WrestleMania Bump

The April 27 episode of WWE RAW saw a decline in viewership following the post-WrestleMania 42 boost, according to new data.

The show featured a major closing segment involving Roman Reigns and his Backlash challenger Jacob Fatu. The two ended the night in a heated brawl, with Reigns ultimately caught in the Tongan Death Grip, adding further intensity to their ongoing storyline heading into Backlash.

According to Netflix data, the April 27 episode drew 2.8 million global views over a seven-day period. That number is down from the April 20 episode, which followed WrestleMania 42 and reached 3.3 million global views.

Despite the drop, the show still performed well in overall rankings. The episode placed sixth among all English-language TV shows on Netflix for the week, both globally and within the United States. That indicates continued strong interest, even as the initial post-WrestleMania surge began to settle.

The decline itself is not unexpected. WWE programming often sees a spike in viewership immediately after WrestleMania, followed by a normalization in the weeks that come after. The April 27 episode reflects that trend, maintaining solid numbers while adjusting from the previous week’s high.

Beyond streaming figures, the show also generated notable engagement across digital platforms. Several segments from the episode performed strongly on YouTube, highlighting which moments connected most with viewers.

Most viewed WWE RAW videos from April 27

  • Roman Reigns accepts Jacob Fatu’s Backlash challenge (1.2 million views)
  • Seth Rollins challenges Bron Breakker to a match at Backlash (689,000 views)
  • Roman Reigns hears out The Usos regarding Jacob Fatu (573,000 views)
  • The Vision interrupts Joe Hendry’s concert (531,000 views)
  • Finn Bálor warns Roxanne Perez about The Judgment Day (456,000 views)

These numbers show that Reigns and Fatu’s storyline continues to drive significant interest, particularly as their title match approaches. Other segments, including those involving Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Finn Bálor, also contributed to the show’s online performance.

While the overall viewership dipped compared to the previous week, WWE RAW remains one of the top-performing shows on Netflix, with consistent engagement across both streaming and digital platforms.
