Rebel shared a heartfelt update on Sunday, saying that the outpouring of support from fans — along with the message delivered to her on AEW Collision — has helped lift her spirits following the announcement that she has been diagnosed with terminal ALS.
Earlier this week, Rebel revealed her diagnosis publicly, prompting an immediate wave of support from across the wrestling community. On Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision in Peoria, Tony Schiavone took a moment on the broadcast to address Rebel directly and acknowledge the signs held by fans throughout the arena.
Schiavone said:
“We want Rebel to know you are a big part of AEW. We are thinking about you right now. We are praying for you that you will pull through this. We got a lot of signs in the stands here tonight that says ‘Rebel, we love you. We pray for Rebel,’ and we certainly do agree with that as well.”
The message aired during the show, accompanied by crowd shots of fans holding supportive signs for Rebel.
On Sunday, Rebel posted to Instagram, sharing a photo of Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness at the broadcast desk. Her caption expressed gratitude toward both AEW and the fans who showed their support:
“Thank you to my @aew family and @tonyrkhan and thank you to the fans for the signs. They truly lift my spirits 🫶“
Rebel’s post reflects the emotional impact of AEW’s acknowledgment and the visible support from the audience, which has continued across social media since her announcement. Her message also underscores the strong connection she maintains with the AEW locker room and fanbase, even while away from television.
As Rebel continues to navigate her diagnosis, the wrestling community has rallied around her — and her latest update makes clear that the support is being felt.
Rebel Says AEW’s On‑Air Message and Fan Support “Lifted Her Spirits” After ALS Announcement
An apparent update has been made to Roman Reigns’ upcoming schedule, as the new World Heavyweight Champion is no longer listed for several June episodes of WWE Raw on WWE’s official website.
As noted on Saturday, Reigns has been quietly removed from advertising for multiple June dates, including several overseas shows and one domestic event. The affected dates include:
June 1 – Turin, Italy
June 8 – Paris, France
June 15 – Baltimore, Maryland
June 22 – London, England
Reigns remains advertised for all episodes of Raw throughout May. He is scheduled to appear on Monday’s show in Omaha, Nebraska, where he will meet Jacob Fatu face‑to‑face ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash this Saturday in Tampa.
Reigns Previously Declared He Would Be Full‑Time for the Summer
The change in advertising comes just weeks after Reigns publicly stated he would be around consistently following his WrestleMania 42 victory. After defeating CM Punk in the main event of Night Two to win the World Heavyweight Championship, Reigns cut a pointed post‑match promo addressing criticism of his past part‑time schedule.
“All this part-time c**p? We’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room, because you’re gonna see my a** all Summer!,” he proclaimed at the time.
The removal from June listings does not necessarily indicate an absence, as WWE advertising often shifts based on creative plans, travel logistics, or internal scheduling adjustments. However, the timing has raised eyebrows given Reigns’ recent commitment to a more active summer run.
For now, Reigns remains fully involved in the build to Backlash, with his confrontation with Jacob Fatu set to headline Monday’s Raw.
AAA on Fox Results – May 2, 2026 – The show opened with Dorian Roldan informing El Hijo del Vikingo that he will defend the Latin American Championship against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. on May 30th. Omos stood by as they spoke about family and legacy.
El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Mini Vikingo
The bitter feud between Mini Vikingo and Regular‑Sized Vikingo reached its boiling point. Their issues began when Vikingo aligned himself with Dorian Roldan and Omos, bullying Mini and eventually revoking his right to use the Vikingo name. After putting Mini in the hospital — twice — Mini returned and cost Vikingo his Rey de Reyes match against Dirty Dom Mysterio, spoiling Vikingo’s chance to win the WWE Intercontinental Title from Penta. Tonight, the Battle of the Vikingos finally went one‑on‑one.
At the bell, Vikingo threw his cape over Mini and stomped him down. He flattened Mini with a dropkick and continued the assault with strikes and slams, but Mini kicked out of every pin. Vikingo fishhooked Mini in a modified camel clutch, then transitioned into an ankle lock, bouncing Mini’s head off the mat until the referee intervened.
Mini fought back with open‑hand slaps, but Vikingo superkicked him and dropkicked him to the floor. Vikingo sent Mini into the steps, then suplexed him on the steel ramp. He followed with a powerbomb on the ramp, launching Mini nearly ten feet. Vikingo dragged him back to the ring and covered, but pulled Mini up at two to continue the beating.
Vikingo charged in the corner, but Mini dodged and hit a headscissors for a near fall. Vikingo bailed, and Mini delivered an unbelievable spinning leap over the top rope into a crucifix driver on the floor — a highlight‑reel moment. Mini took control with strikes and stomps. He went for a springboard frog splash, but Vikingo got the knees up and powerbombed him for another near fall.
Frustrated, Vikingo punched and kicked Mini, then removed the second‑turnbuckle pad. He tried to throw Mini into the exposed steel, but Mini countered with a drop toe hold, sending Vikingo face‑first into it. Mini hit a 450, but Vikingo kicked out. Vikingo then threw Mini into the referee, knocking the official outside. Mini hit a hurricanrana and covered — the bell rang, but no one knew who rang it or whether there was a count.
In the chaos, Vikingo clotheslined Mini and hit a terrifying uranage from the top rope. He covered, but again, no referee. Vikingo rolled outside clutching his shoulder and grabbed a chair. He went to use it, but Dr. Wagner Jr. ran down and hit a Wagner Driver on Vikingo onto the chair. Mini climbed up and hit a 630 onto Vikingo. The referee slid back in and counted the three in one of the biggest upsets in lucha libre history.
Winner: Mini Vikingo
Post‑Match — Omos, Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno del Mal
Omos stormed to the ring and took out Dr. Wagner Jr. He lawn‑darted Mini into the ring post, then rolled Wagner back inside. Omos chopped and kicked him and prepared for a powerbomb — until Galeno del Mal, Wagner’s brother, ran in with a chair. He cracked Omos across the back, and the brothers chased him from the ring.
Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix
Last week, Laredo Kid lost a non‑title champion‑vs‑champion match to El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Fenix tried to console him afterward, but Laredo blew him off and stormed away. Fenix watched him leave, stroking his chin — wrestling shorthand for “I guess I’m fighting that guy next week.” And here we are.
Laredo tried to keep Fenix grounded early, but Fenix dodged everything and kipped up with ease. The pace accelerated with both men countering each other until Laredo bailed to regroup. Fenix hit the ropes for a dive, but Laredo slid back in and cut him off with a spear.
Laredo shifted to strikes and slaps, then dropkicked Fenix in the head for two. Fenix tried a spin kick, but Laredo countered into a Michinoku Driver. Laredo went up top and hit a perfect crossbody, but Fenix kicked out again.
Fenix fired back with a back elbow and superkick. He punted Laredo’s head off the top rope, but Laredo survived the cover. Fenix sent Laredo outside with an enzuigiri and followed with a hurricanrana off the apron. Back inside, Fenix hit a top‑rope moonsault for another two count and continued kicking Laredo’s head to set up the Mexican Muscle Buster.
Laredo escaped and dropped Fenix with a hard right hand, then hit a moonsault from the bottom rope. He went for a second, but Fenix moved — only for Laredo to spike him with a Mexican Destroyer DDT. Fenix kicked out at ONE.
Laredo set up for more, but Fenix exploded with a cutter. They traded chops until Fenix sent Laredo into the corner. Fenix charged, but Laredo caught him with another right hand. Laredo climbed up top, but Fenix followed, hit an uppercut, and delivered the Mexican Muscle Buster. He covered, and the referee counted three.
Winner: Rey Fenix
Psycho Circus Drama
A video package recapped the escalating clown chaos in Psycho Circus. Panic Clown and Dave the Clown were mysteriously taken out, and Psycho Clown began to suspect his own partner Pagano after Pagano arrived late to help him against the War Raiders. They argued, Pagano stormed off, and Psycho turned a corner to find Murder Clown unconscious with a bandanna on his chest — Pagano’s bandanna. Next week, Psycho and Pagano will meet face‑to‑face to get to the bottom of it, promising pure clown‑level mayhem.
It was also announced that La Catalina will make her in‑ring AAA debut next week.
Real El Grande Americano & Original El Grande Americano — Contract Signing for Noche de los Grandes
The saga of the two El Grande Americanos reached its next chapter with the contract signing for their Mask‑vs‑Mask match on May 30th. The “Real” El Grande Americano has been riding high in both WWE and AAA, but everything changed when the “Original” El Grande Americano returned at the Royal Rumble. Both reached the finals of Rey de Reyes, with Real Americano winning the sword. OG Americano was furious, and the two began interfering in each other’s business until Real Americano finally challenged him to settle it mask‑to‑mask.
Security, ring announcers, and Dorian Roldan filled the ring as the Americanos made their entrances — though, as always, WWE‑adjacent security is famously useless. Roldan emphasized the importance of Mask‑vs‑Mask matches in lucha libre and asked them to sign. OG Americano instead produced a letter from his attorney.
Roldan read the first condition: No physical altercations between now and May 30th. If either man attacks the other, he automatically loses his mask. Real Americano agreed and signed the addendum.
Then came the second condition: OG Americano would not participate in the match unless the current ring announcer was removed from AAA. This enraged Real Americano — clearly a trap to provoke him — but the ring announcer quietly left, and both men signed the contract.
OG Americano exited… and immediately the Creed Brothers hit the ring, driving Real Americano through the table and covering him with the American flag. Rayo and Bravo Americano rushed out to chase them off and even the odds.
Until May 30th, the two Americanos cannot touch each other — or they lose their masks automatically.
While many within WWE want to reign supreme as the most villainous group to have ever been formed, Imperium would like to have a word. The former European militant style group always put their best foot forward, leaving a trail of their enemies on the sacred mats of “WWE NXT UK” and “WWE NXT.” In time, their work was well renowned that wrestlers from the group, like Ludwig Kaiser and GUNTHER (WALTER), would go on to the main roster. But staying behind was Giovanni Vinci, which really destroyed him and his self-esteem during his time in WWE.
“We were that group in ‘NXT,’ where it was the three of us and when the call-up happened, they got called up. I didn’t. So, that was a bit of a mix up. That was also a bit of a, like, what’s going on here,” the former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion told Chris Van Vliet on his “Insight” podcast. “We started at the same time. Then, WALTER came over after that. But they went up there, said, ‘You guys do your thing. I’ll do my thing ‘NXT.’ It’ll all work out.’ But it was a bit of an avalanche of emotions at the time ’cause you don’t know what’s going on here. Like, am I not going anywhere? What’s happening?”
To his surprise, he would reunite with his Imperium mates at Clash at the Castle PLE in 2022 before being tossed aside by his former allies seven months after their reunion on the main roster. Trying to find himself after such a loss, Vinci would head over to “WWE SmackDown,” where he rebuilt his career and returned to his wealthy, Italian, highbrow “”Veni, Vidi, Vinci” roots. Sadly, he was released from WWE after an eight-year tenure with the company on February 8, 2025.

Now that Royce Keys is establishing himself as a TV presence in WWE, the former AEW star is ready to talk more about the last few months. After recently revealing that he asked Triple H for a series of dark matches prior to joining TV full-time, Keys also spoke to Fox News and touched on his debut at the WWE Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
“For me, it was a huge test,” Keys said. “New audience, new style, being so far away from home – I didn’t know what to expect. Probably one of the handful of times I’ve been nervous in my life.”
Keys appeared in the 14th spot of the Men’s Royal Rumble match, lasting a little under 10 minutes and earning a single elimination along the way. After eliminating Damian Priest, Keys was thrown over the top rope by Bronson Reed.
“Once I got to walk down that aisle, everything felt so natural, getting in the ring and just being there. All eyes on me,” Keys continued. “It was definitely rewarding. You ever get that feeling like you were meant to do something? I had that feeling then.”
Following the aforementioned dark matches, Keys made his return to TV at the “WWE SmackDown” ahead of WrestleMania 42, winning this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal against opponents including Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Johnny Gargano. Then, the week after that, Keys appeared in a backstage segment along with receiving a video package offering some insight into his personal life.
