Triple H Says WWE WrestleMania 34 Was One Of His Favorite Nights As A Wrestler

There are few WWE stars who have had more WrestleMania moments than Triple H, who has competed at the event on 23 occasions in his career, which is second all-time placing just behind The Undertaker. Whether it was defeating Chris Jericho to become Undisputed WWE Champion or facing “The Phenom” at back-to-back WrestleManias, Triple H has built himself an impressive resume at “The Show of Shows,” but he recently admitted that one of his favorite matches came during his final days as an active star.

Speaking on “What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon,” Triple H reflected on teaming with his wife at WrestleMania 34 against Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey, claiming that the tag team match is one of the most memorable nights of his career.

“There’s certain Mania moments that stick out, but that’s one of my favorite nights just cause being able to do that with you and the entrance and you doing the water spit and just the whole thing was just so surreal, cool. Like when you get to the end, at that point, I’m doing stuff like what, once a year maybe or something like that and it’s brutal. But there were all just like these little moments that you savor, so to think that I would have that time that late in my career to like, oh, I get to go out there with you and do all that cool stuff and all that fun stuff.”

Triple H continued to explain that he caught himself being a fan watching McMahon and Rousey perform and had to force himself from smiling in order to stay in character.

Tony Schiavone Says He’ll ‘Never Forget’ This Recent AEW Dynamite Moment

Last month, Darby Allin won the AEW World Championship, marking his first reign and the first time that particular title has changed hands on TV since 2022. According to Tony Schiavone on “What Happened When,” the main event is one that will stick with him for a long time.

“It’s one of those moments that I will never forget, because it was so well-done, it was so special, and it was a thread that we had through our entire program,” Schiavone said. “To see Darby Allin win the world title and all the guys come out and celebrate with him, and the way he’d done it, I just think it’s a thing that I will never forget.”

The April 15 edition of “AEW Dynamite” featured a running throughline leading up to the main event between Allin and MJF. In the end, Allin bested his fellow “Pillar” in just a few short minutes, and the show closed with Allin being joined in celebration by Sting, Brody King, and a contingent of the AEW locker room.

Allin then made his first successful defense of the AEW World Championship against Tommaso Ciampa on the following episode of “Dynamite,” followed by another defense against King the week after. According to Schiavone, that’s something fans should expect to continue in the coming weeks.

“Darby’s the type of kid that will not rest and will always defend the title, unlike a guy like MJF,” he stated.

With Allin continuing to defend the title on a regular basis, though denying MJF a rematch, it remains to be seen how long Allin remains champion. The company’s next pay-per-view is AEW Double or Nothing, scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in the Queens borough of New York City.

WWE’s Raquel Rodriguez On Post-Finn Balor Judgment Day: ‘It’s A Women’s Club Now’

The Judgment Day has undergone plenty of changes since its first iteration of members in April 2022, and ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42, things changed once again when Finn Balor was kicked out of the group following the return of Liv Morgan. The remaining members include the Women’s World Champion, alongside Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Roxanne Perez, and Raquel Rodriguez. It’s the first time the stable has been dominated by women, something Rodriguez joked about in an interview with “The Wrestling Classic.”

“Honestly, after we kicked Finn Balor out, I was like, ‘Woah! It’s a women’s club now,'” Rodriguez said. “It’s a strong women’s club with Dominik and JD.”

Rodriguez talked about her history with Morgan, who she previously won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with multiple times before Judgment Day. She said that while they knew each other during their Performance Center days, they didn’t become friends until Rodriguez’s main roster call-up in 2022.

“It didn’t happen as fast at the beginning, but when I got called up to the main roster, and they kind of threw us together as a tag team, I think we both realized that we do have a lot in common,” she said. “We have the same mindset when it comes to wrestling, when it comes to preparing. So that just kind of bonded us really, really quickly.”

Rodriguez explained that when Perez was introduced to the group, Morgan felt like they were being given a “baby” to raise. She joked that when Morgan got hurt, she was left feeling like a “single mother.” She said everything has brought the three of them closer together, making what they do on and off screen “so natural.”

WWE’s Cody Rhodes Says Dominik Mysterio Makes Him Feel Uncool

Third-generation pro wrestler Dominik Mysterio has been described as many things by both his peers and veterans who saw him grow up, ranging from talented to a fraud. Over the years, Cody Rhodes has clashed with Mysterio on multiple occasions, and while has yet to lose to him, Rhodes admits he feels insecure around the rising star.

“Dom’s like the one guy at work I’ll feel not cool around,” Rhodes admitted during an episode of his “What Do You Wanna Talk About? With Cody Rhodes” podcast, adding that even when he has a new watch and shows it off to Mysterio, the third-generation star already has something even better than his. “He just oozes charisma.”

Mysterio’s introduction into the industry has been unique, as not only were his father and uncle pro wrestlers before him, but he was thrown into the entertainment and kayfabe side of pro wrestling years ago when his father feuded with Eddie Guerrero. Because of this, Rhodes opines that Mysterio is trained backwards and knows psychology and fan engagement before wrestling fundamentals. Despite all of this, Rhodes still wants to connect with Mysterio on a friendship level, and interestingly asked his guest for the show -Liv Morgan – if he can “get in” with Mysterio.

“He’s just cool,” Rhodes added.

He then recalled a moment with Mysterio on a flight back from Saudi Arabia, where he saw how the young star could shift focus completely to something like sleeping.

“Me, Michael Cole, we were talking over him. Glasses were going over him, people are cheersing, and he never moved,” Rhodes recalled. “It was legit 14 hours.”

Morgan then corroborated the story, claiming Mysterio always falls asleep on planes.

“How?” Rhodes exclaimed. “I haven’t slept more than six hours in like ten years! 14 hours?”

Big E Reacts to New Day WWE Departure with Symbolic Fan Art Post

Big E Reacts to New Day Departure with Symbolic Fan Art Post

Big E has responded to the news that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are no longer with WWE, sharing a symbolic image that reflects the end of an era for The New Day.

The reaction came shortly after reports indicated that Kingston and Woods mutually agreed to part ways with WWE following a contract situation involving TKO Group Holdings.

Big E New Day Reaction Draws Attention

Big E took to social media to post fan art inspired by the classic Spider-Man No More comic panel. The image shows Kingston and Woods discarding their New Day gear in a trash can in an alley, echoing the moment when Peter Parker walked away from being Spider-Man.

The post did not include a written message, but the visual alone carried a clear meaning, signaling a closing chapter for the group’s time in WWE.

New Day History and Breakup

The New Day, formed by Big E, Kingston, and Woods over a decade ago, became one of the most successful factions in WWE history. The trio captured multiple tag team championships and built a lasting connection with fans through their “power of positivity” identity.

However, the group’s dynamic changed in 2024 when Kingston and Woods turned heel on an episode of Monday Night RAW and removed Big E from the group.

Big E has remained out of in-ring competition since suffering a serious neck injury during a match involving Ridge Holland. While Kingston and Woods continued competing, Big E transitioned into a broadcast role for WWE premium live events.

Ongoing Reaction Across Wrestling

The departure of Kingston and Woods has sparked widespread reaction across the wrestling industry, including from AEW talent. The situation remains fluid, with both wrestlers currently in a non-compete period before they can explore new opportunities.

For now, Big E’s post stands as one of the most notable responses, offering a visual tribute to a group that defined a generation of WWE tag team wrestling.
