WWE’s Charlotte Flair Shares Her Thoughts On The Divas Championship

After a lengthy stint in “NXT,” Charlotte Flair burst onto WWE’s main roster in 2015 and quickly won the Divas Championship after defeating Nikki Bella. Flair would ultimately be the final Divas Champion, as the title would be retired and she’d become the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion. In an interview with Katie Nolan, Flair looked back at her run with the Divas belt, claiming she felt empowered after winning it.

“It was the first title that I held, and at that time – I’ve never been known for my looks…my strength was my athleticism…I’m an athlete that can hold a title that’s labeled a diva, and you can be both,” she said. “When I retired it, it wasn’t like we’re retiring this because it’s negative, we’re retiring it to debut a new title that the women hadn’t been given that opportunity to have and to rebrand, relabel, set a new standard.”

Flair further emphasized that the Divas Championship was not tossed away and still remains a part of the history of Women in WWE, and the new branding was never meant to come across as negative.

“Today I want to be called a ‘Diva,’ cause it’s how you look at it and phrase it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being a Diva,” she explained.

The night Flair won the title, she wore a belt over her trunks and admitted that she was actually paying homage to Paige.

“She was everything I wasn’t, so the belt is Paige-inspired – the gear, I’m not really sure,” she said.

WWE’s Jade Cargill Comments On Abandoned AEW Storyline With Bow Wow

Rapper/Actor Bow Wow and then-AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill engaged in a social media-driven feud, with an in-person confrontation during his Millennium Tour and a segment where he crashed one of the events Cargill attended.

The storyline was ultimately abruptly dropped and never mentioned again, and while fans weren’t entirely keen on seeing the angle, many wonder what the idea was. Cargill has since opened up about the storyline during an interview on “Joe Budden TV.”

“I wrote something foolish first, just to like joke, because it was something that was supposed to pop off with him and another wrestler named Swerve; it didn’t pop off well,” Cargill explained, adding that she was “talking s**t” online as part of her character, and that ended up popping off to the point where plans changed to have her in the storyline instead.

“We were supposed to wrestle, I don’t know what happened with it; I think it was more so his camp,” she added, noting it was supposed to be a tag team match, but Bow Wow’s team took issue with the angle, and the match never happened. “I really was looking forward to that, because he was talking a lot of smack!”

Cargill’s entry into pro wrestling was notably a team-up with NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal, likely to play to her background as a basketball player herself. Earlier in the interview, she looked back at the match, noting that she never did developmental or training before AEW.

“That was my first match ever on TV. It was insane!” she exclaimed, adding that she had one practice match as a babyface before being told she’d be heel and paired with O’Neal. “Probably like one-two-three people get something like that to start off with; and I’m not a nepo baby, I’m just blessed!”

WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 2 Full & Final Card

Following Saturday’s craziness, WWE WrestleMania 42 will continue with another night of action, this time for a six-match lineup.

For fans in the United States, the first hour of night two will air on ESPN, with Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar kicking it off in a singles bout. Lesnar laid out an open challenge for anyone to face him on WWE’s grandest stage. Fresh off his main roster call-up, “The Ruler” then answered it with the intention of making a big statement in his first-ever WrestleMania outing. Also within the ESPN hour, Penta will raise up the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match against Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Rusev and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

The full order of the show’s remaining bouts is unclear, though fans do know that Roman Reigns will mark yet another WrestleMania main event appearance when he challenges CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. “The OTC” earned this opportunity by winning the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble, then circling Punk as his opponent out of hatred.

Somewhere in between will be two more championship contests as well as a grudge match between former allies. Those former allies are Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor, the latter of whom now finds himself without friends after being excommunicated from the Judgment Day. In an effort to avenge the betrayal, Balor has revived his “Demon” persona, while Mysterio potentially has his existing stablemates waiting in the wings.

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill will defend her respective title against the winner of the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber, Rhea Ripley. Cargill has recruited B-Fab and Michin as backup along the road to WrestleMania. Ripley, meanwhile, has maintained a sole ally in the form of IYO SKY. Finally, just weeks after his surprise win, newly-crowned WWE United States Champion Sami Zayn will put his title on the line against Trick Williams, who comes equipped with rapper Lil Yachty

WWE Stars Liv Morgan And Dominik Mysterio Both Hate Their Current Theme Music

Since he became one of WWE’s top heel characters, Dominik Mysterio has been vocal about disliking his current theme song “It Is My Time,” and he recently doubled down on his disapproval of the track during an interview alongside his Judgment Day partner, Liv Morgan.

Speaking with “Billboard News,” Mysterio revealed that he prefers a specific song for his entrance theme that he was part of the music video for, but is unsure when he will finally be able to use it on TV.

“I hate mine … dude I’d switch it up, I don’t know how familiar you are with corridos tumbados and stuff, but there’s this guy named Adriel Favela, very popular, Calle 24 as well, they wrote a song called ‘Sucio Dom,’ which means ‘Dirty Dom,'” he explained. “Feel like it kind of fits a little bit … we released it at Survivor Series and it kind of it bangs. So I don’t know, we’re just waiting now.”

Morgan also shared her frustrations with her current theme song “Liv Gone Mad,” but also complained about another entrance track that she’s never enjoyed. “I don’t really like mine either … we hate the Judgment Day music,” she claimed. “I think I would sing it myself.”

This past Monday, Morgan released her first-ever song titled “Trouble,” which was accompanied by a music video and will reportedly be her new theme song going forward.
