After months of teasing a breakup, The Judgment Day finally split on Monday’s episode of “WWE Raw” when Finn Balor was kicked out of the group. Last week, Balor indirectly caused Dominik Mysterio to lose the Intercontinental Title to Penta, and although “Dirty Dom” was looking for an apology, the “Prince” snapped and took his anger out on the former champ last night. At first, many of the other Judgment Day members didn’t seem to know who to side with, but JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan ultimately chose to attack Balor.

McDonagh’s betrayal was arguably the most shocking, as he was mentored by Balor and has teamed with him for years, but after “Raw” concluded last night, he took to social media to air his frustrations with the former WWE Universal Champion.

“You lied to all of us for months. You got an ego. You wanted to be the leader. You played games. That’s never been what the Judgment Day has been about. You used to know that. Judgment Day is my family and if anybody dares to try to step on any of them, you get stomped out.”

With WrestleMania 42 on the horizon, it’s possible that Balor and Mysterio will settle their differences in singles action at the event. At last year’s WrestleMania, Balor and Mysterio both competed for the Intercontinental Title in a Fatal Four Way match with Penta and Bron Breakker, where Dominik would emerge victorious and win his first championship on the main roster.

WWE legend Booker T has applauded Rhea Ripley and her continuous growth as a wrestler, especially inside the ring.

While previewing the WrestleMania match between Jade Cargill and Ripley, which is set to take place at WrestleMania 42, Booker T argued that Ripley is performing at her highest level, particularly in the ring, as she heads into the marquee event.

“Jade Cargill is a specimen. And then you got Rhea Ripley, who definitely holds her own against anyone, especially in ring. I think Rhea Ripley, right now, is the best worker that she’s ever been in ring inside the squared circle. I really do. I mean, I watch her timing, I watch her movement, I can tell she’s thinking out there. So that matchup right there, definitely it’s a marquee matchup all the way across the board. Checks off every box,” he said on his “Hall of Fame” show.

Booker T believes the clash between Cargill and Ripley could main event WrestleMania, something many pro wrestling fans have been demanding as they want to see a women’s match close one of the days of “The Show of Shows.” Booker T isn’t the only WWE Hall of Famer who has praised Ripley’s in-ring work in recent times, with Kevin Nash also lauding her work inside the squared circle, notably the way she sells.

Ripley earned a world title shot against Cargill at WrestleMania after winning the women’s Elimination Chamber match. The rivalry between the two has been pretty personal, as Ripley, in a now-deleted post, seemingly hit out at Cargill for lying and advised her to learn to work better, with the WWE Women’s Champion then firing back at her. Reports have indicated that the altercation was not a part of the storyline, and the conflict between them is legitimate. 

Cody Rhodes regained the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre on “WWE SmackDown,” a decision Bully Ray has backed, but the WWE Hall of Famer isn’t happy with one aspect of the match. 

The match between Rhodes and McIntyre saw the two battle inside and outside the ring, with Rhodes even being put through a table. The lack of a stipulation, Ray argued on “Busted Open,” was something that bothered him about the world title clash.

“I was happy with that television world championship match and I was unhappy with that television world championship match. The unhappy does not have anything to do with Cody or Drew. It has to do with the rules, the regulations, and the lack of stipulations. And I have the same problem with Cody and Drew’s match, the stipulations on that match, that I had with Kenny Omega and Okada at Wrestle Kingdom,” he said. “But as far as a television main event is concerned, mission accomplished.”

While many have criticized McIntyre’s loss to Rhodes, just a few weeks after he had won the WWE Championship from “The American Nightmare,” Ray has backed the title change, calling it a “smart idea.”

“I have zero problems with this creative decision. I have zero problems with this change of direction. None. I think it was a great idea. Forget about great idea, I think it was a smart idea. I think it was a ‘best for business’ idea. And at the end of the day, it makes for a considerably better story,” he said.

Rhodes’ win, his third WWE world title, means that he will face the winner of the men’s Elimination Chamber match, Randy Orton. Ray is excited for the Orton and Rhodes clash at “The Show of Shows,” but before that showdown, he is eager to see them come face-to-face on “SmackDown,” which he says is similar to the excitement he felt when CM Punk and Roman Reigns met head-to-head on “Raw.”

“TNA Impact’s” viewership and ratings have grown once again, following a slight dip in both metrics the previous two weeks. 

The March 5 edition of “Impact” has drawn just a shade under the quarter million mark, with the average viewership of the show being 249,000, according to “Programming Insider.” This is a sizable jump from the viewership for the previous two weeks — the February 26 and February 19 editions — which drew an average audience of 233,000. Last week’s show’s viewership is inching closer to the highest audience “Impact” has garnered since its move to AMC, which came on the February 12 edition that registered 254,000 viewers. As per “Wrestlenomics,” the 249,000 number is higher than the four-week average, which is at 240,000. 

The 18–49 key demographic rating also grew marginally for the March 5 “Impact,” rising from 0.03 to 0.04. While it has risen from the previous week, the rating is lower than the four-week average, which is currently at 0.05.

Last week’s show began with a TNA Knockouts World Championship match, where Arianna Grace successfully retained her title against Jody Threat, while The System became the new #1 contenders for the TNA World Tag Team titles. Leon Slater, meanwhile, continued his 200+ day reign as TNA X-Division Champion when he defeated Nic Nemeth, while the show closed with TNA World Champion Mike Santana demanding that TNA management reinstate Steve Maclin, whom he will face at Sacrifice later this month.

The pair put on an excellent match with too many great spots to name, but was highlighted by Page surviving the Panama Sunrise into The Boom, as well as the Deadeye through the table. The crowd was hot, despite it being the main event out of a 12-match AEW pay-per-view, as the company’s events have become notorious for running long. The crowd leaned to some silliness playing off the first names of the competitors, chanting “We want Adam!” and “Let’s Go Adam” with the response of “Adam sucks!”

Revolution 2022 overall was a highly-rated event on Cagematch, currently sitting at a 8.86 (out of 10) average rating with just over 475 votes. Page and Cole’s match for the AEW World Championship has an average rating of 8.26, based on 645 votes, with a majority of those votes rating the bout an eight or nine. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave the match four-and-a-half stars.

Page would go on to successfully defeat Cole once again in a Texas Deathmatch on an April 2022 episode of “AEW Rampage.” “Cowboy S***” would come to an end, for the time being, in AEW, when Page lost the title to CM Punk at Double or Nothing in May, ending his reign at 197 days.

Cole would go on to begin his infamous bromance-turned-failed feud with MJF as “Better Than You Bay-Bay” in June 2023. The storyline, which saw Cole reveal himself as “the Devil” was marred by injury, and in recent memory, Cole appeared to retire, or at least announced an extended hiatus, at All In 2025.

“Hangman” has faired better, and following his second reign with the AEW World Championship, is back in the title scene once again. He goes one-on-one with MJF in a Texas Deathmatch at Revolution on Sunday.
