WWE’s Stephanie McMahon Opens Up About Previous Miscarriage

Stephanie McMahon has been having personal, in-depth conversations with plenty of WWE stars, from Naomi announcing her pregnancy alongside Jimmy Uso, to AJ Lee speaking about her struggles growing up, to most recently, Natalya opening up about stories in her memoir, on her podcast, “What’s Your Story?” On the episode featuring Natalya, McMahon shared a personal story of her own. “The Billion Dollar Princess” opened up about a previous loss she suffered while trying to build her family with Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The women were speaking about the importance of mental health when McMahon brought up the story.

“I had a miscarriage at one point,” she said. “It’s devastating. You never really know until you tell someone that you had a miscarriage, and then you find out tons of women that you know who have had miscarriages. And it’s just something we don’t share, you know, that I think if we did talk about more it would be helpful, from a mental health standpoint as well.”

They continued to speak about working through hard times and how everyone will go through something hard at one point in life, and McMahon also mentioned almost losing her husband to a “widow maker” heart attack. McMahon said it put things into perspective for her about what really matters.

“I am blessed with my husband and with my three girls,” McMahon said. “We have the most incredible children. They just really are. They have such big, kind hearts. They’re all so different and they’re all so smart. We are truly blessed.”

WWE’s GUNTHER On Fan Reaction To His Win Over John Cena: ‘Suck It Up’

When GUNTHER ended John Cena’s career this past weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the fans in attendance quickly voiced their displeasure with the result after watching their hero lose in his last match. However, the crowd was not only angered with GUNTHER for winning, but also booed WWE CCO Triple H when he walked out to the ring, having chanted “You f****d up” at “The Game” because he didn’t book Cena to win the match. Throughout the week, fans have continued to air their frustration over the conclusion to SNME both online and at “WWE Raw” on Monday, leading “The Ring General” to outline how he feels about beating Cena and the negative reaction to his victory.

“It felt really good … my tour bus was parked outside the venue and I always kind of had to be escorted through a bunch of people, a bunch of fans to get to the building,” he explained during an interview with “TMZ.” “The people really wanted to see John win and really wanted to have that. Yeah, that good feel moment with him at the end of it, but it didn’t happen. You don’t always get what you want.”

GUNTHER continued by sending a message to the fans who are still upset about Cena losing on Saturday, claiming that the WWE Universe is at fault for buying into the 17-time World Champion’s belief system for too long.

“Suck it up … if you’ve been naive enough to think that all of that ‘Never Give Up’ stuff is going to hold up forever, then yeah, blame yourself,” GUNTHER confidently stated. “Stop crying, okay? Life goes on.”

Bully Ray Believes John Cena Will Play An Important Role In Future WWE Storyline

Bully Ray feels that John Cena could return in the future to potentially help Cody Rhodes if he comes up against one of Cena’s former opponents.

Cena will no longer wrestle in WWE, but he is still signed with WWE in an ambassadorial role and could feature on WWE television, minus his wrestling boots. Ray feels that when Rhodes is in a feud with Gunther and has some self-doubt, Cena could appear to give “The American Nightmare” a much-needed reminder of what he’s all about.

“One day, Cody Rhodes is going to be face-to-face with Gunther. I don’t know when. Obviously, there’s the Brock stuff. Eventually, Cody Rhodes is going to come before Gunther. And by the time we get there, Gunther will have been built up to a level where he will be the immovable force, the irrefutable object, blah, blah, blah. He’s going to be that guy. And Cody is going to have doubt. And Cody is going to have a problem with Gunther. And Cody is going to be down in the dumps. And Cody is going to forget where he came from. And Cody is going to have issues. And one day, like a force ghost popping up, John Cena will return at the right moment to remind Cody who he is,” said Ray on “Busted Open.”

Gunther, following his historic win over Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event, gloated about how he tapped out Cena on the “WWE Raw” after the show. He also seemingly teased a match with AJ Styles, who was one of Cena’s opponents on his retirement tour, and also someone who is set to retire in 2026. Rhodes and Gunther haven’t a long storyline yet, with their only clash with each other coming last year at Crown Jewel, where Rhodes won the Crown Jewel Championship.

AEW’s Kyle Fletcher Cites Longtime WWE Star As His Earliest Influence On Promos

Kyle Fletcher has listed the wrestlers who inspired him with their promo work, naming a few former WWE Champions as well as some AEW stars.

Fletcher has had a year that has seen him grow as a wrestler, not just in the ring but also on the mic, with his trash-talking getting a bit of recognition. The AEW star told Chris Van Vliet on “Insight” that The Miz was one of the wrestlers whose mic work he admired as a kid.

“I think the very — this always gets a bit of a laugh. Growing up — I’m a little bit younger than a lot of wrestling fans — one of the people that first drew me in with their promos was The Miz. A lot of people have things to say about him now, but I still think he’s one of the best,” he said. “I was 12 years old in 2011, going, ‘This is the best. I’m awesome.'”

The former TNT Champion named a few more WWE stars whose promo skills impressed him, which included the recently retired John Cena. He also mentioned some of his peers in AEW who he thinks are good on the mic.

“Cena is far and away like the best promo guy I’ve ever seen, like the stuff in his final run, there have been a couple where I’ve just been like sitting there glued to the screen just like [saying], ‘How is this guy just so amazing at what he does?’ Roman obviously now. And then there’s like Hangman, I think [he] is one of the best guys on the mic. [Samoa] Joe, every time he’s on the mic, I’m so drawn into him. MJF as well. Those are kind of like probably where I draw the most inspiration from.”

The Australian star, who chopped his hair last year and later delivered an impassioned promo, was applauded by WWE legend Bully Ray for the effort.

WWE HOFer Booker T Talks Backstage Environment For John Cena’s Retirement Match

WWE legend Booker T was in attendance to watch John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event and has detailed the atmosphere backstage and the message he gave Cena before his match.

A whole host of WWE Hall of Famers and legends were at the Capital One Arena in Washington, which included the likes of Booker T, Mark Henry, RVD, Trish Stratus, and Haku, to name a few. On his “Hall of Fame” show, Booker T shared when he arrived at the venue and the interesting conversations he had there.

“I got there like five o’clock because I knew exactly what I was going to be doing. I was just going out to watch the match, more than anything. I was just there, you know, to support Cena. That’s it. But it was cool. Me and Mark Henry, we chopped it up and kicked it. Jesse Ventura, Tyrese Haliburton, you know, we kicked it with him and his dad. I had them laughing the whole time, man. I was just telling jokes and, you know, just cracking them up.”

The veteran star stated how he and Cena always related wrestling to Shakespeare, which is the pep talk he gave the 17-time world champion before he wrestled his final match.

“You know, me and John Cena, we got a connection. I had so many matches with John. I was one of the guys that was — you know, it was never about wrestling. It was always Shakespeare, you know. And him and I, we’ve never talked about wrestling. It’s always been Shakespeare, you know, and that’s what I told him right before the match. I gave him a hug, and I said, ‘Shakespeare, baby. Let’s get it done, one last time,'” he said.

Booker T added that he loved wrestling Cena and recalled being tasked with shaping him into the next WWE star, to eventually follow in the footsteps of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
