AEW Collision Spoilers for 12/20

AEW Collision Spoilers for 12/20

AEW Collision Spoilers for 12/20 – Following the taping of the three-hour Holiday Bash editions of AEW Dynamite and Collision in Manchester, England on Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling recorded an additional hour of matches for a separate one-hour episode of Collision. This episode is scheduled to air at 2:30 PM Eastern this Saturday due to NCAA college football playoff coverage airing later in the day on TNT.

The extra taping took place immediately after the Holiday Bash event concluded and featured several notable matches, including key Continental Classic tournament bouts and a championship title change. The episode blends tournament action with standalone matches, giving the special early-afternoon broadcast a strong lineup despite the adjusted time slot. Spoilers for the taping were provided by Stephen Lyon.

One of the major highlights saw Jack Perry pick up his first win in the Continental Classic Gold League. Perry defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey in tournament action. Perry is currently filling in for Darby Allin, who is sidelined with an injury. After the match, Luchasaurus appeared wearing a Santa hat and carrying a bag of toys, leading to a holiday-themed moment where babyfaces tossed toys into the crowd.

Another Continental Classic Gold League match featured Kevin Knight scoring a significant victory over Kazuchika Okada. The result adds further intrigue to the Gold League standings as the tournament continues to develop heading toward Worlds End.

Eddie Kingston also competed on the taping, defeating Nathan Cruz in a squash match. Cruz was accompanied to the ring by the Grizzled Young Veterans. The match was short and decisive, keeping Kingston strong ahead of upcoming events.

In a major title change, Alex Windsor defeated Mercedes Moné to capture the Undisputed British Women’s Championship. The win marks a notable moment in Windsor’s career and stands as one of the most impactful results from the taping.

Below is the full list of matches taped for the one-hour AEW Collision episode airing Saturday at 2:30 PM Eastern.

  • Jack Perry defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey in a Continental Classic Gold League match
  • Eddie Kingston defeated Nathan Cruz with Grizzled Young Veterans in a squash match
  • Alex Windsor defeated Mercedes Moné to win the Undisputed British Women’s Championship

AEW will return to the United States this weekend, heading to New York City’s Manhattan Center to tape Dynamite on 34th Street, airing December 24, and Christmas Collision, airing December 25. These shows will serve as the go-home editions ahead of Worlds End next Saturday.

AEW Holiday Bash 2025: 3 Things We Loved And 3 We Hated

This week saw Roderick Strong and Jon Moxley clash in a must-win Blue League bout in the Continental Classic, with Strong having been defeated in his opening two matches against Orange Cassidy and Konosuke Takeshita, while former World Champion Moxley had felt victory against Mascara Dorada before back-to-back defeats to Claudio Castagnoli and Takeshita.

Moxley has been on a rough patch since losing the World Championship to “Hangman” Adam Page at All In, going on to say ‘I Quit’ in a clash with Darby Allin, surrendering for his team to lose Blood & Guts, and tapping out Kyle O’Reilly at Full Gear. So much of the interest lies with how his Continental Classic journey, especially with teammates Castagnoli and PAC also in the tournament, turns out and impacts his standing as leader of the Death Riders.

Moxley could have been eliminated from the tournament early if he didn’t get a win this week, and having just barely beaten Strong, he ensured that drama heads into his final bout of the league format; he faces Orange Cassidy, who will himself be looking to reach the knockout stages with a win. However, their fate isn’t entirely up to them. Castagnoli and Takeshita both occupy the top of the group, seven points each, having drawn with one another. Takeshita has Dorada and Cassidy left to face, while Castagnoli will only take on Strong, who now has nothing to gain or lose.

That particular layout sees a variety of options moving forward, with Strong still effectively holding power over Moxley despite his loss this week, and Cassidy against Moxley presenting a truly must-win bout. The twist is that Moxley has to win to go through, whereas Cassidy can still find himself in the next round with a draw, depending on how he fares against Takeshita.

I could go through all the potential outcomes, but I am as aware as you that it would be boring. Let’s just skip to the part where I say that the Continental Classic thrives for exactly that reason. There is a litany of directions, outcomes, and consequences to explore simply through the format, and that in itself is without taking into account that each and every one thus far has been, at the very least, a great match. Moxley’s story in particular, though, has been compelling in his vulnerability and the sheer making it by the skin of his teeth. And this week, against Strong, a spiritual stand-in after O’Reilly’s injury, that story shone through.

Moxley cut a backstage promo later to sell that aspect, and it’s really starting to feel like he’s reaching a crossroads in his character. If it can be good in the moment and promise good stuff further down the line, then that’s a win for me.

AEW Dynamite & Collision Holiday Bash Results – December 17, 2025

AEW Holiday Bash goes down tonight in England.FTR (C) vs. Bang Bang Gang

It’s main event time!

The third and final Collision-hour of tonight’s AEW Holiday Bash three-hour special event has flown by, as we have already worked our way to the final advertised match of the evening. It will be FTR duo Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler putting their AEW World Tag-Team Championships on-the-line.

FTR will defend against The Bang Bang Gang team of Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn. The two teams make their respective ring entrances. The ring announcer handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for the champions and the challengers, and then the bell sounds to get this one started.

Austin Gunn and Cash Wheeler kick things off for their respective teams at the onset. We see the two briefly locking up before breaking away. Another lockup leads to both men exchanging holds. Wheeler wrings the arm of Austin, who counters into a side headlock before hitting the ropes for a shoulder tackle.

A tag is made to Robinson, who continues to go to work on Cash while keeping him away from a tag to Harwood, who gets involved anyway. The ref intervenes. Dax finally gets the tag, sending Robinson to the corner before Juice fights him off.

Wheeler gets involved but gets sent to the floor by Juice, but a distraction by the ref stops him from seeing Cash trip up Robinson. Chaos ensues with all four men coming into the ring to go at it, before FTR are both sent to the outside.

On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into what will likely be the final commercial break of the evening, as this tag-team title tilt continues. When the show returns, we see Yuta is in control of the offense. He has an abdominal stretch on Austin.

Dax makes a blind tag that forces a break of the hold. A bit of confusion leads to a small package on Harwood, but the ref is slow to make the count, leading to just a near-fall. Wheeler back in for some more damage leading to another Dax tag and another beatdown.

Austin breaks free for the hot tag to Robinson. This brings in the other Bang Bang Gang member to loud “Juice” chants from the crowd. Robinson unleashes a series on FTR, and stacks up Harwood for a close two count. The crowd continues to rally behind Juice.

Robinson uses the energy from the crowd to continue his impressive offensive onslaught. After another minute or two of this, we see FTR begin to take over. After a near-miss finish, which led to confusion and a loud “Bullsh*t!” chant from the crowd, things get going again and Robinson is put in a submission. He taps out. Show ends.

Winners and STILL AEW World Tag-Team Champions: FTR
