AEW Dynamite & Collision Holiday Bash Results – December 17, 2025

AEW Holiday Bash goes down tonight in England.FTR (C) vs. Bang Bang Gang

It’s main event time!

The third and final Collision-hour of tonight’s AEW Holiday Bash three-hour special event has flown by, as we have already worked our way to the final advertised match of the evening. It will be FTR duo Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler putting their AEW World Tag-Team Championships on-the-line.

FTR will defend against The Bang Bang Gang team of Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn. The two teams make their respective ring entrances. The ring announcer handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for the champions and the challengers, and then the bell sounds to get this one started.

Austin Gunn and Cash Wheeler kick things off for their respective teams at the onset. We see the two briefly locking up before breaking away. Another lockup leads to both men exchanging holds. Wheeler wrings the arm of Austin, who counters into a side headlock before hitting the ropes for a shoulder tackle.

A tag is made to Robinson, who continues to go to work on Cash while keeping him away from a tag to Harwood, who gets involved anyway. The ref intervenes. Dax finally gets the tag, sending Robinson to the corner before Juice fights him off.

Wheeler gets involved but gets sent to the floor by Juice, but a distraction by the ref stops him from seeing Cash trip up Robinson. Chaos ensues with all four men coming into the ring to go at it, before FTR are both sent to the outside.

On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into what will likely be the final commercial break of the evening, as this tag-team title tilt continues. When the show returns, we see Yuta is in control of the offense. He has an abdominal stretch on Austin.

Dax makes a blind tag that forces a break of the hold. A bit of confusion leads to a small package on Harwood, but the ref is slow to make the count, leading to just a near-fall. Wheeler back in for some more damage leading to another Dax tag and another beatdown.

Austin breaks free for the hot tag to Robinson. This brings in the other Bang Bang Gang member to loud “Juice” chants from the crowd. Robinson unleashes a series on FTR, and stacks up Harwood for a close two count. The crowd continues to rally behind Juice.

Robinson uses the energy from the crowd to continue his impressive offensive onslaught. After another minute or two of this, we see FTR begin to take over. After a near-miss finish, which led to confusion and a loud “Bullsh*t!” chant from the crowd, things get going again and Robinson is put in a submission. He taps out. Show ends.

Winners and STILL AEW World Tag-Team Champions: FTR

FTR Retain AEW World Tag Titles During Holiday Bash

FTR are still AEW World Tag Team Champions after defeating the Bang Bang Gang’s Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn in the main event of the “AEW Collision” portion of the company’s Holiday Bash special on Wednesday. Robinson and Gunn got their shot at the gold for being the last team to defeat Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler before their championship victory over Brodido at Full Gear.

Gunn and Wheeler start off the match and the Bang Bang Gang showed why they were the last team to topple the champions, with Robinson taking out both men with a flying cross body, though FTR took control of the match back during a commercial break. Gunn tried to turn things back around as he locked in a sleeper on Harwood, but Wheeler was able to make the tag. Robinson rallied for his team, taking down both of the champions and very nearly had Harwood with a roll-up.

Stokely Hathaway attempted to interfere in the match with a handful of powder, but Robinson knocked his head against Wheeler’s to take them both down. Wheeler sent Gunn over the barricade into the timekeeper’s area, but Gunn rallied quickly to take Wheeler out before FTR could hit the Shatter Machine. Robinson pinned Harwood and it looked as though the Bang Bang Gang had the titles won, but the champion got his foot on the bottom rope at the last second.

The distraction allowed for FTR to get Robinson in a figure four, and Wheeler delivered a stomp to his knee for good measure while Hardwood had the hold. Harwood locked in the figure four once again, and Robinson had to tap out.

AEW Women’s Tag Title Rematch Set For Worlds End

The Babes of Wrath, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, made history on the Winter Is Coming edition of “AEW Dynamite” back on December 10 as they defeated the Timeless Love Bombs to become the first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions. Now just seven days later the champions have their first set of challengers, who they will meet at the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 27.

During the Holiday Bash edition of “Dynamite” on December 17, Nightingale and Cameron were involved in an eight-woman tag team match where they teamed up with the Timeless Love Bombs to take on Mercedes Mone, Athena, Marina Shafir, and Megan Bayne. The match ended with Athena hitting the O-Face on Nightingale, who fell right into a roll-up by Mone who secured the victory for her team. After the bout, Mone and Athena were backstage with Lexy Nair where they felt like a victory over the new champions should be rewarded with a title match, and that bout was made official for Worlds End shortly after as Mone and Athena will be the first challengers to The Babes of Wrath.

The match will actually be a rematch from the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament as Cameron and Nightingale got what many considered to be an upset victory over Mone and Athena in the first round, with Cameron getting the pin on Athena. However, “The Fallen Goddess” got a small measure of revenge a few weeks later when she successfully defended the ROH Women’s World Championship against Cameron on an episode of “ROH on HonorClub.” Mone and Athena might be more decorated as singles stars, but they have not been a regular team since being eliminated from the title deciding tournament by The Babes of Wrath, and both Cameron and Nightingale will be hoping that factor can be used to their advantage.

AEW Continental Classic 2025 Update – Dynamite: Holiday Bash

The 2025 Continental Classic tournament continued on the Holiday Bash edition of “AEW Dynamite,” as well as the first half of “AEW Collision” with the second half airing this Saturday at a special start time of 2:30ET. The fans in Manchester, England got to see action in both the Gold and Blue Leagues, where one competitor became the first performer to be mathematically eliminated from the tournament.

That elimination came in the Blue League where Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong kicked off the action for the night. Strong walked into the match as the only man in the tournament without a single point on the board, while Moxley was looking to bounce back after two consecutive losses to Claudio Castagnoli and Konosuke Takeshita. Much like a number of the Continental Classic bouts, it was hard-hitting and it could have gone either way, especially as the match was dangerously close to hitting the 20 minute time limit. However, there was a winner and that man was the former AEW Men’s World Champion as Moxley hit Strong with two Death Riders (the move, not his stablemates) to secure the victory. With the win, Strong is officially eliminated with two matches still to go. Moxley has one match left against Orange Cassidy, and he will need to win to keep his hopes of reaching Worlds End alive.

Over in the Gold League, “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher was also looking to bounce back from his loss to “Speedball” Mike Bailey as he took on PAC. With a homefield advantage, PAC looked to use the English fans in attendance to his advantage as he was aiming to pick up his second win of the tournament, and it worked. Fletcher went for a Brainbuster on the turnbuckle but PAC escaped, who hit “The Protostar” with an Avalanche Poisonrana. Fletcher would roll perfectly into position for PAC to hit the Black Arrow for the pinfall victory. With the win, PAC joins Fletcher on six points having wrestled one match less, and with Kazuchika Okada and “Speedball” Mike Bailey also on six points, the Gold League may have to rely on tie-breakers in order to be decided.

Rounding out the action was Orange Cassidy taking on Mascara Dorada in the Blue League. The two men have become friends over the course of the tournament, but they had to put that friendship aside as they both looked to double their tally from three points to six. In the end, it was Cassidy who managed to use Dorada’s speed against him as he managed snatch a quick crucifix pin to keep the CMLL star down for the victory. Cassidy now sits in joint second with Jon Moxley, who he still has to face, on six points, while Dorada remains on three points with two matches to go.

Ricochet & Bandido Survive AEW Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal

AEW has a number of traditions when it comes to the holiday season, and one of those traditions is the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal. The 2025 battle royal took place on the Holiday Bash edition of “AEW Dynamite” in Manchester, England, and the two men advancing to the match to determine the winner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring are the AEW National Champion Ricochet, and the ROH World Champion Bandido.

Brody King and Bandido were taken out by The Demand as they were making their entrance, but Ricochet and the Gates of Agony were blindsided by Ace Austin. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens might not be getting along as well as they used to, but they were able to take Josh Alexander out with the Scissor Me Timbers. However, just as the former AEW World Tag Team Champions attempted to roll back the years with the scissoring, Ricochet snuck in and eliminated Caster. Ace Austin was the next to be eliminated, and he was followed by Anthony Bowens as both Ricochet and Mark Davis worked together as the match went to the commercial break. During the break, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona cut Brodido’s Macarena party short as the two teams went toe-to-toe. Luchasaurus and Shelton Benjamin then showed each other how strong they were at the expense of the field before exchanging strikes themselves.

Back out of the break and a quick series of eliminations at the hands of Alexander saw Luchasaurus, Benjamin, and Davis, his fellow Don Callis Family member, all get dumped out of the match. The Demand would work over King in the corner but he would quickly escape, and after Alexander tried to catch King in an Ankle Lock, Brodido worked together to eliminate Alexander.

Kaun came dangerously close to eliminating Bandido but the ROH World Champion survived on the apron. However, when Liona went to eliminate Bandido, King would charge in with a Lariat, eliminating Liona and himself as the momentum carried him out of the ring. Kaun went back for Bandido to try and make the finals an all Demand affair, but Bandido hit a Poisonrana over the ropes to eliminate Kaun, leaving himself and Ricochet as the final two men in the match. They will now face each other at the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 24, where the winner will earn a shot at the AEW Men’s World Championship on the Maximum Carnage edition of “Dynamite” on January 14.
