WWE’s Booker T Comments On Brock Lesnar Vs. Oba Femi Feud Heading Into WrestleMania

One of the most eagerly awaited match-ups at this year’s WrestleMania is the clash between two huge men, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, and WWE legend Booker T is keen to see how it unfolds.

Oba Femi has taken to the main roster quickly, and in just a few weeks, fans have bought into the hype of the former NXT Champion. Booker T, on the “Hall of Fame” show, said that the match could be a valuable learning experience for Oba Femi, who he feels is in a great position to learn from someone like Lesnar.

“What Brock Lesnar did for Oba Femi too on that night was, you know, it made me feel good as far as, like I say, Brock Lesnar is one of the guys that’s going to be able to really show Oba Femi what it really means to be a monster, a beast. If anybody could teach Oba Femi, you know, and give him those little bitty things that he’s going to need to catapult himself to that next level, it’s going to be somebody like Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar’s been a student of the game for so many years. Not just this game, but just wrestling in general. So Brock Lesnar, I don’t know what he is as a coach, but I can imagine he could be a hell of a coach, I’m dead serious. I like the match-up,” said Booker T.

The “NXT” commentator further praised Lesnar’s ability to safeguard his gimmick, something that not many people in the modern era are capable of.

“Brock has been very, very smart as far as knowing how to protect his character. And that’s the one thing so many people do not understand as far as protecting that character,” he added.

Booker T contrasted Lesnar’s understanding of pro wrestling to that of others who have made the transition from other forms of combat sports, like Lesnar’s former opponent, Cain Velasquez, arguing how Lesnar has combined MMA and pro wrestling very well.

Steven Borden Jr Scores Victory In First NJPW Appearance

Steven Borden Jr Scores Victory In First NJPW Appearance

Steven Borden Jr., the son of Sting, took another step in his young wrestling career by making his NJPW debut over the weekend as part of a tag team showcase at the LA Dojo.

The appearance came during the NJPW Academy 3rd Anniversary Showcase on March 21, where Borden teamed with Allan Breeze to face Hitt and Vin Parker. Footage of the event surfaced through a vlog released by Bighorn Blockbuster, offering a closer look at the next-generation talent in action.

The match began with Breeze and Parker trading control early on, each trying to impose their style and slow the pace. Momentum shifted when Borden and Hitt entered at the same time, creating a clear contrast in size and power. Despite giving up a physical advantage, Borden showed resilience and composure, managing to turn the tide in his team’s favor.

Throughout the bout, Borden absorbed several heavy slams but continued to fight back, showcasing flashes of the intensity and presence that made his father a legend. He also paid tribute to Sting with elements of his offense, drawing a clear connection to his lineage.

The closing moments saw Borden capitalize on the opportunity, pinning Vin Parker to secure the victory for his team and mark a successful debut under the NJPW banner.

Borden only began his in-ring journey in October 2025 but has already gained experience through appearances on AEW Dark matches and Ring of Honor tapings. His development has also been guided by NJPW’s Fred Rosser, who previously confirmed he has been working closely with the second-generation wrestler. There has also been reported interest from AEW President Tony Khan as Borden continues to build momentum early in his career.

Paul Heyman Fires Back In Bobby Heenan Debate Over Greatest Manager Ever

Paul Heyman Fires Back In Bobby Heenan Debate Over Greatest Manager Ever

Paul Heyman has delivered a fiery defense of his place at the top of professional wrestling’s managerial hierarchy, pushing back hard against comparisons to Bobby Heenan and arguing that the numbers clearly separate the two.

Speaking to VGC, Heyman did not hold back when asked about the long-standing debate, questioning why Heenan is even included in the same conversation.

“I’m so sick of hearing that name,” Heyman said. “How many champions has Bobby Heenan managed? Zero. You can count them on one hand. Can’t count mine on one. You can barely count them on two. How many WrestleMania main events was he in? The only person that’s been in more WrestleMania main events than me is Roman Reigns.”

Heyman also addressed the idea that his role as an “advocate” rather than a traditional manager could diminish his credentials, quickly dismissing that notion while pointing to his own record.

“If you want to just say, well, that doesn’t count because you’re a manager, an advocate, a wise man, an oracle, okay, so let’s put it this way,” Heyman said. “I’m in people’s corners at WrestleMania. The number is 10. Who’s second place? Stephanie McMahon. You know what number she’s at? Three. Please tell me how anybody measures up to my accomplishments.”

He closed his argument by putting the comparison into stark financial terms, insisting there is no legitimate debate when it comes to his legacy.

“I managed more champions for a longer period of time and a longer period of time within their title reigns than anybody else in history,” Heyman said. “No one even comes close. They’re not even in the same universe as me. So you genuflecting respect upon someone that is dead and whose numbers don’t match mine is like saying that your next door neighbor who just hit the million dollar lottery is in the same league as Elon Musk. They’re not, and Bobby Heenan’s not in mine either.”

Heyman has famously aligned himself with major stars such as Brock Lesnar and CM Punk throughout his career, building a reputation as one of the most influential figures in wrestling history. Meanwhile, Bobby Heenan remains widely regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time, with a legacy that continues to be celebrated following his passing in 2017.

Despite his latest comments, Heyman has spoken positively about Heenan’s contributions to the business in the past, making his latest remarks all the more striking.
