Dustin Rhodes says he has no interest in returning to WWE as an in-ring performer, but he would gladly accept an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame if the opportunity ever comes.

Rhodes, now 56 years old, has been part of All Elite Wrestling since 2019. In addition to competing in the ring, he also works behind the scenes and remains under a long-term agreement with the company. According to Rhodes, his time in AEW has allowed him to enjoy wrestling again while performing at a high level during the later stage of his career.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, Rhodes was asked whether he would be interested in joining the WWE Hall of Fame if the company extended an invitation. He made it clear that he would be honored by the recognition but is not actively campaigning for it.

“Absolutely,” Rhodes responded when asked about the possibility. “I’m a very humble guy though, it’s like, if it comes, it comes, whatever. I would love Cody to do it and my daughter, specifically both of them. That would be just great, the most meaningful, heartfelt. But if it comes, it comes, if it doesn’t, no big deal. I’ve had an awesome, incredible career, doing some great things.

“I feel like these last seven years in AEW, I’ve been really on top of my game because I’ve had more freedom to enjoy it, and it’s happier and you’re more passionate, find your passion sometimes again, and you want to grow this company the best we can, and we’re all on the same page in AEW. We are doing the best that we can to get it to where it needs to be, and it’s growing. It’s getting huge.”

Rhodes also reiterated that he has no plans to revive his famous Goldust persona or return to WWE for another run. Instead, his focus remains on AEW as both a performer and mentor.

After undergoing double knee surgery in 2025, Rhodes is currently working toward an in-ring comeback and hopes to return to action within the next few weeks. He plans to continue wrestling for a few more years before eventually transitioning fully into his backstage responsibilities with the promotion.

Meanwhile, this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class is already beginning to take shape. Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and the legendary tag team Demolition have already been confirmed as inductees.

JD McDonagh has explained his actions after turning on Finn Balor during the March 10 episode of WWE RAW.

The shocking moment came as tensions within The Judgment Day reached a breaking point on the road to WrestleMania. What initially appeared to be an attempt by McDonagh to calm down the confrontation between Balor and Dominik Mysterio quickly turned into a betrayal.

As the argument escalated in the ring, Balor charged toward Dominik. McDonagh suddenly stepped in and dropped Balor with a clothesline, officially turning on his longtime ally and opening the door for the rest of Judgment Day to attack.

Following the episode, McDonagh addressed the situation in-character on social media. In his message, he blamed Balor’s ego for the internal problems within the group and defended his decision to stand with the rest of the faction.

“You lied to all of us for months. You got an ego. You wanted to be the leader. You played games,” McDonagh wrote. “That’s never been what the Judgment Day has been about. You used to know that.

“Judgment Day is my family and if anybody dares to try to step on any of them, you get stomped out.”

The storyline betrayal carries added significance given the real-life history between the two Irish stars. Balor has long been viewed as a mentor to McDonagh, and the pair previously worked closely together as members of Judgment Day.

During their time in the faction, Balor and McDonagh even captured the World Tag Team Championship on two separate occasions.

Monday night’s segment ended with Dominik, McDonagh, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez standing tall after leaving Balor laid out following a brutal beatdown that included a steel chair.

The angle appears to be setting the stage for a potential WrestleMania showdown between Balor and Dominik. However, WWE has not yet officially confirmed the match for WrestleMania 42.

AJ Francis Re-Signs With TNA – It was announced that AJ Francis, who was previously known as Top Dolla during his time in WWE, has officially re-signed with TNA.

According to a report from Skubie Mageza of ESPN, the new deal will keep Francis with the company through the remainder of 2026.

Mageza shared the news on social media while also revealing one of the key factors behind Francis’ decision to stay with the promotion.

“Former Maryland Terrapin, and NFL Defensive Lineman, A.J. Francis has re-signed with TNA for the remainder of 2026,” Mageza wrote. “He said a major reason behind his decision is the continued exposure and growth of the partnership between TNA & AMC.”

Before transitioning to professional wrestling, Francis had a career in football. He played collegiately at the University of Maryland before entering the NFL in 2013 with the Miami Dolphins. Francis would go on to spend time with several teams before his football career concluded in 2018.

Francis later moved into professional wrestling and became widely known as a member of the faction Hit Row during two separate runs in WWE.

He made his debut for TNA in 2024 and has since established himself as a heel character on the roster. During his time with the promotion, Francis also captured the TNA Digital Media Championship.

The contract announcement comes during a week in which TNA confirmed additional roster news, including that Steve Maclin has also re-signed with the company.

TNA’s next major event is TNA Sacrifice 2026, scheduled for March 27. At the event, Maclin is set to challenge Mike Santana for the TNA World Championship.

Paul Heyman has been written off WWE tv following a violent attack that took place on the March 2 episode of WWE RAW.

During the March 9 broadcast, commentator Michael Cole provided an update on Heyman’s condition and confirmed that the longtime manager will be out of action indefinitely due to injuries sustained during the altercation.

According to Cole, Heyman suffered several injuries as a result of the assault. The reported medical issues include a cervical spinal contusion, facial lacerations, and a deviated septum. Because of the severity of those injuries, WWE has not provided an estimated timetable for Heyman’s return to television.

The attack occurred the previous week when Seth Rollins blindsided Heyman during the March 2 episode of RAW. Rollins struck him from behind with a steel chair before delivering his finishing move, the Stomp, leaving Heyman laid out.

Following the incident, officials quickly rushed to the scene and placed Heyman into an ambulance to transport him for medical treatment.

However, the situation took another unexpected turn when the ambulance was intercepted by LA Knight, who then drove the vehicle away. The segment added another layer of intrigue to the ongoing storyline involving several major WWE stars.

Heyman has long been one of the most influential on-screen personalities in WWE, serving as the advocate for top talents and playing a central role in numerous major storylines over the years.

While WWE has not announced when Heyman could return, the storyline development appears designed to temporarily remove him from television as the road to WrestleMania continues.

When discussing his brief but eventful run in WWE from 2019 through 2021, AEW’s Swerve Strickland has been upfront about not seeing eye to eye with Triple H, who was then in charge of “NXT.” Though he’s stopped short of badmouthing WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Strickland has held firm that Triple H seemed to favor other talents over him, and it was only through the backing of other WWE higher ups, like Shawn Michaels, that Strickland was able to eventually get consistent screen time.

Speaking with “Kings of the Ring,” Strickland detailed his interactions with Triple H just prior to Strickland forming the stable Hit Row with B-Fab, Top Dolla, and Ashante Thee Adonis. Once again, Strickland insinuated that Triple H had been slow to do anything with him, and it was only with outside help did Strickland wind up with the group.

“Triple H, me and him were just going back and forth,” Strickland said. “He was, like, dodging me, when I was coming up with creative questions and stuff. And then, finally, I think it was like Stephanie McMahon that really, like, told me ‘He’s my favorite heel on the show.’ And then that’s where, like ‘Okay, now we’ve got to start putting some fire behind Swerve.’ 

“So they were like ‘Hey, I think we’re going to put this group behind you. How do you feel?’ I wasn’t really…I didn’t do groups at the time. I was independent, jumping from city to city, country to country to country. So running a group was just, like, not my thing. I didn’t know how to. But the group became more like, less them being backing for me. We became a gelled group, like, all four corners. And the time was good. It was fine. I wish we had more time together with it, but, you know, things happened.”
