Thekla Explains Mutual Benefits Of AEW Partnership With Julia Hart & Skye Blue

In less than a year, Thekla has made her mark on AEW, quickly rising up the card to become AEW Women’s World Champion. But she hasn’t done it all by herself, aligning with Skye Blue and Julia Hart to form the Triangle of Madness, a stable that has been instrumental in not only helping Thekla take the Women’s Title from Kris Statlander, but helping her retain it against Statlander at AEW Revolution.

In an interview with “TheSportster,” Thekla talked about her alliance with Blue and Hart, and revealed how the two helped her acclimate to AEW, despite both lacking the experience Thekla has overall.

“I think it’s very cool to work with those two, because they’re both a little younger than me, they haven’t been around that much yet in the wrestling business,” Thekla said. “I’m almost, like, we’re going on 9 years, 10 years, you know? I’ve been around. Those two know AEW though, you know what I mean?

“They helped me navigate a little bit, and gave me some insider information that helped me understand really quickly like ‘Oh, that’s how I do this, and that’s who I have to be afraid of.’ That kind of stuff…If you know, if you’ve got that inside knowledge, that’s how I did it [won the title] in eight months. So those two are great.”

While Blue and Hart have been helpful to her, Thekla also believes that she can help the duo improve as well, admitting that both Hart and Blue share similar traits to herself.

“I see a lot of myself in them, and I see a lot of talent they have and that I try to, like, incorporate in what I’m doing,” Thekla said. “And I also hope that I can give them a little bit of inspiration, or like, knowledge on how to make it and navigate yourself in this business.”

Tony Schiavone Says Former ROH World Champion Is Underused In AEW

One consistent criticism toward AEW is the lack of screentime several fan-favorite wrestlers receive, especially those who still tend to get strong reactions from live crowds. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny TV recently expressed how he feels “underutilized” in AEW, and according to Tony Schiavone, Johnny TV may not be the only one.

“If you don’t like Jay Lethal, something’s wrong with you, man,” Schiavone opined during an episode of his “What Happened When” podcast. “I’ll say this – this is Tony Schiavone saying this – he is a wonderful, underused, piece of talent in AEW.”

While Lethal still occasionally wrestles in ROH and on “AEW Collision,” his last major storyline was when his stable – The Lethal Connection – feuded with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR for the title back in 2023, even having a match at Double or Nothing. As a singles star, he was involved in the inaugural Continental Classic, but didn’t record a single point in his block.

Despite his utilization, back in 2023, Lethal expressed the desire to face off against Chris Jericho before the veteran’s eventual retirement, describing the potential bout as a dream match. At the time of writing, Jericho and Lethal have yet to step into the same ring, and if the “Learning Tree” decides whether or not he’ll stick with AEW – considering he’s been absent from television since April 2025 – Lethal might still see his dream match materialize, which could also give him some much-needed TV time.

AEW Dynamite Draws Best Viewership Of 2026 On March 18

AEW Dynamite Draws Best Viewership Of 2026 On March 18

AEW Dynamite Ratings for March 18, 2026 – All Elite Wrestling delivered its strongest television performance of the year with the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

According to Programming Insider, the broadcast on TBS averaged 730,000 viewers. This marks a significant increase from the 619,000 viewers recorded on March 11 and stands as the highest total audience Dynamite has achieved so far in 2026.

The positive trend was also reflected in the key 18 to 49 demographic. The March 18 episode scored a 0.13 rating, up from the 0.09 rating posted the previous week. This represents a notable jump in the demo, which is a critical metric for television performance and advertising value.

The combined increase in both overall viewership and the key demographic highlights a strong week for AEW. The numbers indicate that Dynamite not only recovered from the prior week’s dip but also reached a new high point for the year.

This result positions the March 18 episode as a standout performance in AEW’s 2026 television run. The jump of over 100,000 viewers week-over-week, along with a solid gain in the demo rating, suggests increased audience interest in the current product.

While weekly fluctuations are common in television ratings, achieving the best viewership of the year is a clear milestone. It reflects momentum for AEW as it continues building key storylines and events in the coming months.

AEW will look to maintain this level of performance in the weeks ahead, using this strong result as a foundation moving forward on Dynamite.

Jade Cargill Aligns With Michin And B-Fab In SmackDown Attack On Rhea Ripley

Jade Cargill Aligns With Michin And B-Fab In SmackDown Attack On Rhea Ripley

The road to WrestleMania 42 took a major turn during the March 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, as Rhea Ripley found herself outnumbered following a surprising alliance involving Jade Cargill.

The show, which took place at the Lenovo Center, featured a heated in-ring promo segment between Ripley and Cargill centered around the WWE Women’s Championship. Ripley made it clear that she believes the title needs her presence, suggesting it has lost importance while held by Cargill.

As the segment appeared to be wrapping up, Cargill began to leave the ring. However, the situation quickly escalated when Michin and B-Fab made their way to the ring.

The two surrounded Ripley, and what followed was a coordinated attack. Michin and B-Fab assaulted Ripley, leaving her laid out in the ring. The moment became even more significant due to recent tensions between Cargill and the duo, making their alignment unexpected.

After the attack, all three stood tall over Ripley, signaling a clear shift in the ongoing storyline. The development suggests that Ripley may now be dealing with multiple opponents heading into WrestleMania 42, adding new layers to the WWE Women’s Title picture.

With WrestleMania approaching, this angle introduces fresh uncertainty to the championship scene. Ripley now appears to be at a disadvantage, as Cargill’s alliance with Michin and B-Fab could play a major role in shaping the outcome of the title match in Las Vegas.

WWE continues to build momentum toward its biggest event of the year, and this development on WWE SmackDown signals that the women’s division will be a key focus in the coming weeks.
