Injured WWE Star Reportedly Backstage At Raw Tonight

An injured WWE star is reportedly backstage at “WWE Raw” at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, according to a new report. PWInsider Elite reported that former Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is backstage.

PWIE did not report as to whether or not Breakker is planned for the show. The star underwent surgery for a serious hernia he reportedly suffered during the February 2 edition of the red brand, where he flipped the commentary desk during a rage in the opening moments of the show.

Breakker was enraged at “Raw” General Manager Adam Pearce after he was quickly eliminated from the Royal Rumble following a stomp by a mystery man in a black hoodie, revealed later to be Seth Rollins, before he could even get in the ring after drawing the #2 spot in the match. Breakker was thrown over the top rope immediately by Oba Femi.

While still not confirmed, reports had been optimistic in recent days and weeks that the former NXT Champion would be good to go for the “Showcase of the Immortals,” especially after the return of Rollins. “The Visionary” and former leader of The Vision, was written off television, for a real-life injury suffered at Crown Jewel, by Breakker in October. As of a March 19 report, WWE was hopeful Breakker would be cleared to compete before WrestleMania.

While it’s also unclear if Rollins is cleared for in-ring action, as he has yet to take a bump since his return at Elimination Chamber, despite getting physical himself, the reported plans were Rollins vs. Breakker at WrestleMania 42.

WWE Raw Results 3/30 – Three Championships On The Line, Raquel Rodriguez Faces IYO SKY & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “WWE Raw” on March 30, 2026, coming to you live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York!

Coming off successful defenses against The Bella Twins and Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair via disqualifications caused by the other team on Friday’s episode of “WWE SmackDown” and the March 13 edition of “SmackDown” respectively, The Irresistible Forces’ Nia Jax and Lash Legend will be putting the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line once again when they face Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. After Bayley and Lyra Valkyria scored a win against The Kabuki Warriors’ Asuka and Kairi Sane during last Monday’s episode of “Raw”, they called out The Irresistible Forces in order to challenge them to tonight’s match.

Kofi Kingston will be competing in his first match since coming up short to Je’Von Evans on the February 23 episode of “Raw” when he challenges Penta for the Intercontinental Championship. As Penta has promised to be a fighting champion and has had successful defenses against the likes of El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, and Dominik Mysterio over the past few weeks, Kingston’s ally Grayson Waller came up short to the aforementioned Evans in singles action last Monday.

Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso will be putting the World Tag Team Championship on the line on television for the first time since retaining against Otis and Akira Tozawa on the February 9 episode of “Raw” as they defend against Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision in a Street Fight. As tensions between the two teams and LA Knight have continued to be on the rise over the last few weeks, Knight passed Jey the signature pair of brass knuckles that Paul uses to cause a match pitting himself and Jimmy against Paul and Theory to end in a disqualification win for the latter two men.

2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan looked to get involved in her Judgment Day’s stablemate Raquel Rodriguez’s match against Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer on the March 16 episode of “Raw” before she challenges Vaquer for her title at WrestleMania 42. However, IYO SKY ran out to the ring to ensure that she couldn’t interfere and took out Morgan. Following such, SKY will be going head-to-head with Rodriguez in singles action.

Roman Reigns and titleholder CM Punk will be squaring off against one another for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19, but before they do, they will both be present at Madison Square Garden. The two men have come face-to-face with one another in a series of heated verbal altercations over the course of the past several weeks, including this past Monday when Punk vented his frustrations about Reigns having previously called him old only for Reigns and the aforementioned Uso brothers to confront him and a brawl to break out.

Additionally, Finn Balor will be making an appearance on tonight’s show after being kicked out of Judgment Day on the March 9 episode of “Raw” and left laid out at the hands of the aforementioned Morgan (who later revealed herself as the mastermind of the entire thing), Dominik, Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh. Brock Lesnar will also be appearing on tonight’s show after Oba Femi answered his Open Challenge to a WrestleMania 42 match on March 16 and has left him laid out the last two weeks on “Raw”.

We are live! Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

WWE Reportedly Pursuing Indie Talent & Beast Games Competitor

While AEW has spent the first part of 2026 signing well known talent from the independent scene, as well as agreeing to dual contracts with CMLL luchadors, WWE has focused on WWE ID deals and signing athletes, such as Ahmed Essam, Delia Schweitzer, and Ellen B. Akesson earlier this month. Now, another new talent may be joining the WWE fold, someone with plenty of wrestling experience who just appeared on the second season of a reality competition.

Fightful Select reports that WWE has strong interest in “Beast Games” competitor Conan Lycan. It’s unclear whether Lycan has signed with WWE or if the promotion has even made a formal offer to him, but many believe there has at least been discussions between the two sides, including talk of a meeting between Lycan and “WWE NXT” higher ups over recent weeks.

Lycan recently gained exposure for his appearance in “Beast Games'” second season, where he appeared under his real name, Nick Mariano. He would last all the way up to the final episode of the season before being eliminated, ultimately placing 7th out of 210 competitors. Lycan would ultimately earn $347,264 from the competition.

While “Beast Games” may have brought Lycan notoriety, he has plenty of experience in pro wrestling to go along with his newfound fame. The 6’3, 270 lb wrestler is an eight year veteran in the wrestling business, having wrestled for indie promotions such as GCW, All American Wrestling, and Black Label Pro, as well as working two matches for AEW in 2022 and TNA in 2024. The veteran also has a strong WWE connection, having been trained in part by former WWE Champion Seth Rollins.

WWE Producer Warns Fewer Matches Are Slowing WWE Talent Development

WWE Producer Warns Fewer Matches Are Slowing WWE Talent Development

A WWE producer has stressed the importance of match reps, warning that fewer bouts today are slowing wrestler development.

Speaking on Dan Marston’s podcast, former WWE Tag Team Champion Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) compared LA Knight’s workload to what he’s seen on the independent scene.

“The experience and the reps people get at that level lead to exponential improvement,” Wilson said. “It’s almost unbelievable how much they grow , it’s remarkable. But that’s where things get a little tricky now. I saw that LA Knight had the most matches in WWE last year with 64. Then I did a seminar and asked some guys how many matches they’d had, and one said around 100 in a year.”

He broke down the long term impact, noting how quickly the gap grows over time.

“I told him, ‘In three years, at that rate, you’ll have 300 matches. Meanwhile, our most active guy would be at about 190 just doing the math,’” he added.

Wilson warned that limited schedules could leave some talent far behind.

“That’s why we’re going to start needing people with that level of experience. If our most experienced guy has that many matches, what about someone only getting 15 a year? In three years, they’d still be under 50. That’s a huge gap in development.”

WWE’s reduced house show schedule has only added to the issue, cutting down one of the traditional ways talent gained valuable in ring experience, a concern also raised by John Cena in a recent interview.
