The Usos Confront CM Punk Over Sika Remark

The Usos Confront CM Punk Over Sika Remark

The Usos Confront CM Punk Over Sika Remark – The rivalry between CM Punk and Roman Reigns escalated during the March 9 episode of WWE RAW, as Punk came face-to-face with The Usos following his controversial remarks the week prior.

On the previous episode of RAW, Punk closed the show by telling Reigns that he would bury him next to his late father, Sika. The comment quickly drew backlash and set the stage for a tense confrontation.

During the March 9 broadcast, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso came to the ring to demand an apology from Punk. Punk questioned why Reigns continued to send his cousins to handle business on his behalf, but Jey quickly clarified that they had come out on their own.

Jimmy explained that the issue was about respect rather than loyalty to Reigns. He told Punk that he had always respected him for speaking his mind and overcoming obstacles throughout his career. However, Jimmy said the line had been crossed when Punk referenced their late uncle, who could no longer defend himself.

“You call yourself the voice of the voiceless. You can speak trash about Roman all you want, but you disrespected our late uncle who has no voice,” Jimmy said while demanding that Punk apologize.

Punk responded by acknowledging Jimmy’s point but questioned whether Sika could truly hear what had been said. He spoke about his history with the Anoa’i family, recalling time spent around the legendary The Wild Samoans and learning from members of the family early in his career. Punk noted that he respected the family and the knowledge he received, though he made it clear that his issues with Reigns remained.

Punk added that if Sika could see what was happening today, he would also see what Punk described as the manipulative behavior of Reigns.

Jey attempted to refocus the situation, insisting the confrontation was not about Reigns but about the apology itself. Punk then shook Jimmy’s hand and said he was sorry, with Jey also accepting the handshake.

However, Punk quickly followed up with another verbal shot. He said he was sorry that Reigns had treated his own family poorly for years and never apologized for it, referencing past insults Reigns had directed toward Dusty Rhodes.

Punk then questioned why Reigns was not being held accountable and suggested that if Reigns truly cared, he would confront him personally rather than sending others.

The segment ended when Jey shoved Punk to the mat before leaving the ring with Jimmy.

Reigns is currently scheduled to return on next week’s episode of RAW, where the situation between the two rivals could escalate further. Punk is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Reigns at WrestleMania 42.

Finn Balor Kicked Out Of The Judgment Day

Finn Balor Kicked Out Of The Judgment Day

Finn Balor Kicked Out Of The Judgment Day – Tension inside The Judgment Day erupted on the March 9 episode of WWE RAW at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, as Finn Balor was betrayed by the very group he helped build.

The segment began with Dominik Mysterio entering the ring alongside Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Dominik demanded a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship against Penta and blamed Balor for his recent title loss.

The tension stemmed from the March 2 episode of RAW, when Dominik challenged Penta for the title. During that match, Dominik attempted to cheat and asked Balor to hand him the ring bell hammer. Balor refused and instead told Dominik to win the match on his own. The moment ultimately cost Dominik the championship, as Penta went on to defeat him and capture the Intercontinental Title.

Tonight, Balor came to the ring with JD McDonagh and addressed Dominik directly. Balor admitted that he played a role in Dominik losing the title and apologized, explaining that he was trying to teach him an important lesson.

Balor said that if Dominik truly wanted to become “the greatest Mysterio of all time,” he needed to fight his own battles. The situation quickly escalated when Balor added that Dominik’s father may have been right about him.

Dominik responded by shoving Balor, triggering a brief fight. Balor initially gained the upper hand with a Pele Kick and a Sling Blade, but the numbers advantage soon turned the tide.

McDonagh suddenly turned on Balor, delivering a lariat that opened the door for a four-on-one attack. Dominik, Morgan, Rodriguez, and McDonagh then unleashed a brutal assault on the former Universal Champion.

The attack intensified when Dominik used a hammer-loaded 619 before hitting two Frog Splashes, with the second delivered onto a steel chair. The segment ended with Balor laid out in the ring as the rest of the group stood tall.

The betrayal officially marks a major fracture within The Judgment Day and signals a dramatic shift in the faction’s direction moving forward.

AEW’s Kota Ibushi Provides Health Update, Return Timetable After Breaking Leg

The past few years haven’t been kind to Kota Ibushi when it come to injuries as the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion has wrestled less than two dozen matches in the past five years. Ibushi looked to have turned a corner when he returned to AEW in the summer of 2025, but that run was cut short in October during a match with Josh Alexander where broke his femur, an injury that some believed would keep him out of action for up to two years.

In a rare interview with “HypeTalkTV,” Ibushi opened up about how he has been feeling lately, revealing that he can picture himself back in the ring a lot sooner than what doctors have told him, that is if the matches he’s involved in are easy. “The surgery…it was really painful,” Ibushi said. “”Now, walking is okay, but running I can’t do. The doctor said a year, but I’ll do it in half that. Yes, in six months…in AEW is fine. Just–sometimes or once, I want to do like an ‘easy match.'”

Ibushi did make a surprise appearance at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 to be a part of Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement ceremony, where he was visibly struggling to make his way down the Tokyo Dome ramp. However, “The Golden Star” wants to make sure that the next time he walks down the ramp, he is in perfect condition. “I will heal my leg as fast as possible and come back to the ring. I want to come back quickly as possible, as soon as possible. Yes, I will return to the ring in perfect condition as soon as possible. I want everyone to know that.

As for what Ibushi would have done in AEW had he not gotten injured, those scrapped plans were recently revealed by The Young Bucks on an episode of “Being The Elite.” Matt and Nick Jackson revealed that they were going to wrestle Ibushi and his Golden Lovers tag team partner Kenny Omega at Full Gear 2025 in what would have been a rematch from their 2018 bout in NJPW.

The Judgment Day Destroys Finn Balor After Argument With Dominik Mysterio On WWE Raw

The pressure cooker that’s been heating up finally exploded on “Raw” when the Judgment Day destroyed Finn Balor.

“Dirty Dom” had been looking for Balor to confront him after getting involved in his match last week. Although he was cursed by Danhausen before the match, Mysterio blamed Balor. Mysterio had ordered JD McDonagh to get the ring bell hammer, but Balor stopped him because Mysterio previously said he wanted to do it on his own. Balor told Mysterio tonight that it was for his own good and said “maybe you are a spoiled, little p****!”

Mysterio struck Balor and McDonagh tried to calm Balor down, but he responded with a Pele Kick. When he grabbed Mysterio by the throat, McDonagh pulled Balor off. Balor charged at Mysterio and McDonagh took him down with a clothesline. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez joined in before it became a four-on-one assault. Balor briefly fought back before Mysterio hit him in the face with the ring bell hammer. He then put it in his shoe and connected with a 619 to Balor. He followed with a Frog Splash and McDonagh attacked him with a chair. As the refs tried to stop him, Mysterio connected with another Frog Splash with the chair laid across Balor’s stomach.

Balor joined Judgement Day in June 2022 when they turned on Edge and kicked him out. Balor was the one who added McDonagh to the group.

Oba Femi Conquers Rusev In WWE Raw In-Ring Debut

Oba Femi made his “WWE Raw” in-ring debut on Monday against Rusev, after the “Bulgarian Brute” called him out last week for a match. While Femi has been wrestling quick matches over on the blue brand, his most recent a victory over Johnny Gargano, he had only taken out the War Raiders in the ring as they awaited a tag match.

The men traded big strikes in the ring to kick off the match until Rusev ran into a big boot by Femi. “The Ruler” sent them both over the top rope with a clothesline. Rusev tried to battle back, but Femi reversed an Irish whip to send Rusev into the stairs. Rusev sent his opponent into the ring post, then hit a spin kick to him near the commentary desk.

Back in the ring, Rusev tried to take Femi off his feet, but only had him staggering. Femi threw Rusev across the ring like it was nothing, but followed it up with a Fall from Grace power bomb for the victory.
