El Hijo Del Vikingo Shares Thoughts On WWE-AAA Integration

Nearly one year ago, WWE became the majority owner of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. In the months since, WWE has brought the AAA product more in line with its own, which (according to Dave Meltzer) has yielded positive and negative results. Unsurprisingly, though, divisive AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo had glowing things to say about the transition during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo.

“It’s a win-win for everyone in the company,” Vikingo said. “Here in Mexico, tickets sell out, people are left outside the arenas. They’re packed and everyone wants to see El Hijo del Vikingo.”

The wrestler believes that the acquisition has made it so that many WWE fans have started watching AAA and vice-versa. As an added benefit, Vikingo gets to work with figures that he looked up to as a child, including The Undertaker, who has taken on a prominent backstage role in AAA.

Another aspect of the change that Vikingo is excited about is the ability to face new opponents. He named Dominik Mysterio as an example, though he may regret those words today. Shortly after the interview took place, Mysterio defeated Vikingo to retain the AAA Mega Championship.

Looking ahead, Vikingo has ambitions outside the AAA side of the deal, as well.

“I will enter the main roster of WWE,” Vikingo stated. “We already entered the video game. Now, we are going to enter the main roster. Those are my short-term plans.”

Vikingo has yet to appear on the WWE main roster, though he did wrestle at both of last year’s Worlds Collide events, featuring WWE and AAA talent on one card. Earlier this year, it was reported that unlike many of his AAA co-stars, Vikingo is signed to a WWE deal.

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s results for “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT” on March 26, 2026, coming to you from the Gateway Center Arena at College Park in Atlanta, Georgia!

Order 4 leader Mustafa Ali will be taking on BDE in what will mark the first singles match between the pair. The two men previously met in the ring on March 12 when BDE, Rich Swann, and TNA International Champion Trey Miguel defeated Ali and his stablemates Jason Hotch and John Skyler.

Since beginning his quest to take out The System one member at a time after the group kicked him out a handful of weeks ago, Moose has emerged victorious against Cedric Alexander in an Atlanta Street Fight on the March 12 episode of “Thursday Night iMPACT” and Brian Myers during last Thursday’s episode of “Thursday Night iMPACT” in very quick fashion with just a spear. Tonight, Moose looks to add the third name to his list when he goes one-on-one with Bear Bronson.

Alexander and Myers will be competing in matches of their own tonight as Myers goes head-to-head with one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Jeff Hardy in what will mark Jeff’s first singles match since he scored a victory against the aforementioned Ali on January 22. Meanwhile, Alexander will be joining forces with fellow System member Eddie Edwards to square off against TNA World Champion Mike Santana and X-Division Champion Leon Slater in tag team competition.

Additionally, Eric Young will be appearing on tonight’s show as he prepares to challenge the aforementioned Slater for the X-Division Championship at TNA Sacrifice tomorrow night.

The rest of The System emerge at ringside, but several members of the Atlanta Falcons get in The System’s face. Bronson becomes distracted, opening the door for Moose to deliver a spear to him and pin him for the win.

Winner: Moose

Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu Hell in a Cell Match Planned for WrestleMania 42

Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu Hell in a Cell Match Planned for WrestleMania 42

The escalating rivalry between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu is expected to reach its breaking point at WrestleMania 42.

Following their wild and physical confrontation on SmackDown, a new report from Self Made Pro indicates that WWE is planning to bring the feud to the biggest stage possible. According to the report, the current direction is for McIntyre and Fatu to face off inside Hell in a Cell at the Show of Shows.

“Sources close to the situation indicate that Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu is expected to take place at WrestleMania 42, with the bout likely set to be contested inside Hell in a Cell.”

The intensity between the two has already gone far beyond a standard in-ring rivalry. On the March 20 episode of SmackDown, their fight erupted into a chaotic scene outside the arena. McIntyre smashed Fatu’s windshield before dragging him out of the vehicle, with the brawl continuing into the parking area. The situation escalated further when both men crashed off a guardrail in a moment that highlighted just how personal the feud has become.

With tensions already spilling outside the ring, WWE appears ready to contain the chaos within one of its most dangerous structures. The Hell in a Cell stipulation has historically been reserved for rivalries that demand a decisive and brutal conclusion, suggesting the company views this program as one of the most intense currently unfolding.

While the match has not been officially confirmed, internal expectations point strongly in that direction. If finalized, it would mark one of the most physically demanding encounters on the WrestleMania card and a defining moment for both competitors.

Based on the level of violence already seen, placing McIntyre and Fatu inside Hell in a Cell may be the only way to bring their feud to a definitive end.

MJF vs Nic Nemeth Announced For Create-A-Pro Wrestling Event In New York

MJF vs Nic Nemeth Announced For Create-A-Pro Wrestling Event In New York

A major inter-promotional clash is now official, as MJF will face Nic Nemeth at an upcoming Create-A-Pro Wrestling event on May 1.

The show will take place at All Sportz Melville and will feature several notable names across multiple promotions. Promotional material for the event also highlights talent such as Frankie Kazarian, Kris Statlander, and members of The System faction.

The announcement comes just hours after MJF went on a heated social media rant directed at Nemeth, stemming from months of criticism on Busted Open Radio. Taking to social media, MJF confirmed the match with a direct message aimed at his opponent.

“@Myers_Wrestling just hit me up and said this clowns down to throw hands. See ya there Nicky,” MJF wrote.

The rivalry between the two has been building since January, with MJF repeatedly responding to Nemeth’s critiques. During his earlier comments, MJF took shots at Nemeth’s past in WWE, including his time as part of the Spirit Squad, while also downplaying his standing in the industry. He also referenced his focus on his upcoming AEW World Championship defense against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty, stating he only competes against top-tier talent.

MJF has a personal connection to Create-A-Pro Wrestling, having trained at the school under Brian Myers and Pat Buck before signing with AEW in 2019 and rising to become one of the company’s top stars.

Meanwhile, Nemeth is currently signed to TNA Wrestling but has indicated that his contract allows him the flexibility to compete in other promotions. Prior to that, he spent nearly two decades in WWE, where he captured multiple championships, including the World Heavyweight Title and Money in the Bank.

With real-life tension now translating into an in-ring showdown, the May 1 event is set to deliver one of the most talked-about matches outside the major promotions.

MJF Blasts Nic Nemeth, Issues Threat

MJF Blasts Nic Nemeth, Issues Threat Ahead Of AEW Dynasty Title Defense

MJF has fired back at Nic Nemeth in a heated social media rant, accusing the TNA star of being “delusional and jealous” after months of criticism.

The AEW World Champion addressed comments Nemeth has made on Busted Open Radio, where Nemeth has offered critiques of MJF’s work. According to MJF, those remarks crossed the line from analysis into personal shots.

“I’ve been listening to Nic Nemeth trashing me through veiled ‘advice’ and ‘notes’ on Busted Open for months when in reality he’s just shtting on me out of jealousy,”* MJF wrote. “This dude actually said I remind him of a younger Dolph Ziggler. lol. I don’t remember ever being an overhyped mid carder. This dude is delusional. This dude is jealous. And most importantly this dude should keep my name out of his f**king mouth.”

MJF escalated the situation further by issuing a direct warning to Nemeth, making it clear he would not tolerate further mentions.

“I’m the most complete professional wrestler in the world,” he continued. “You couldn’t lace my boots or carry my mic. Say my name again on your little show and I’ll beat the f**king sht out of you. You know where to find me.”*

Despite the personal back-and-forth, MJF made it clear that his primary focus remains on his upcoming title defense. He is set to face Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty in a high-profile AEW World Championship match.

“In the meantime I’m gonna focus on my world title defense against ‘The God’ Kenny Omega at [AEW] Dynasty. Cuz I only face the best of the best. Lmk when the Spirit Squad guy belongs in that conversation,” MJF added.

The exchange adds another layer of controversy around MJF, who continues to generate headlines both inside and outside AEW as he heads into one of his biggest matches of the year.
