CM Punk WWE RAW MSG Confrontation With Fan After Show

CM Punk’s intense night at Madison Square Garden continued even after WWE RAW went off the air, as the World Heavyweight Champion was involved in a heated exchange with a fan following the broadcast.

A video shared on TikTok quickly gained attention, showing a fan loudly taunting Punk while he stood on the announce table after the show ended. The fan repeatedly shouted insults and voiced support for Roman Reigns, who is set to face Punk at WrestleMania 42.

The fan yelled, “Booooo! You suck! You suck! You suck! I acknowledge Roman! I acknowledge Roman!”

Punk initially reacted in a mocking manner by performing Roman Reigns’ signature acknowledgment gesture. However, the situation escalated when the fan continued shouting.

Punk responded directly, saying, “F** you, buddy! This is The Garden. The marquee says ‘wrestling,’ not ‘cinema,’ you f**ing idiot.”

The fan continued the exchange by targeting Punk’s age.

He shouted, “You’re old! You’re old! You’re old!”

The moment quickly became one of the most talked-about incidents from the night, adding to an already heated atmosphere surrounding Punk’s ongoing rivalry with Reigns.

Earlier in the evening on WWE RAW, Punk and Reigns closed the show with a chaotic brawl. Roman Reigns entered the ring to address the crowd, but Punk interrupted and immediately went on the attack. The fight spilled to ringside as both men exchanged heavy strikes.

Punk gained momentum by slamming Reigns into the announce table and the ring post. Reigns responded with a spear, but Punk countered with a GTS. The situation escalated further as Punk continued the assault, eventually powerbombing Reigns through the announce table.

WWE officials rushed in throughout the segment, attempting to separate both competitors, but struggled to contain the situation. The segment ended with Punk standing tall in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd.

The off-air confrontation with the fan added another layer to Punk’s night, highlighting the intense reactions surrounding his feud with Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania 42.

WrestleMania III Immortal Moment Award Honors Hogan vs Andre

WrestleMania III Immortal Moment Award Honors Hogan vs Andre

WWE has announced that Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant from WrestleMania III will receive the Immortal Moment Award at the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. The match becomes only the second to receive this honor, following Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13.

The WrestleMania III main event took place in 1987 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. On that night, Hulk Hogan defeated Andre the Giant to retain the WWF Championship in front of a record-setting crowd. The match remains one of the most recognized moments in wrestling history.

The highlight of the bout came when Hogan lifted and bodyslammed Andre the Giant, a moment that WWE has replayed for decades. That scene continues to stand as one of the defining visuals of WrestleMania and WWE as a whole.

The Immortal Moment Award was introduced in 2025 to honor matches that have had a lasting impact on WWE history. The first recipient was Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13, a match widely praised for its storytelling and influence.

This year’s induction also allows WWE to honor Hulk Hogan following his passing in July 2025. Hogan had already been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice during his career. He entered as a solo inductee in 2005 and later as part of the nWo in 2020 alongside Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.

Andre the Giant holds a unique place in WWE history as well. He was the first-ever inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1993, shortly after his passing. His legacy remains closely tied to WrestleMania III and his rivalry with Hogan.

The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at Dolby Live inside Park MGM in Las Vegas. The event will take place during WrestleMania 42 weekend and will celebrate some of the most important moments and figures in WWE history.

With this announcement, WWE continues to highlight the lasting impact of WrestleMania III, ensuring that one of its most iconic matches receives recognition for its place in wrestling history.

Dana White Claps Back At Critics Of AI-Generated UFC Branding

Dana White has responded to criticism after using generative AI to produce branding for UFC events.

The rise of generative AI has yielded many ethical and environmental concerns concerns over the past few years, with certain models plagiarizing content and misinforming through collation of inaccurate information, as well as water and finite material consumption for cooling and components.

Much of the concern also comes from corporations looking to AI as a cheaper alternative to human labor.

So when UFC advertised its UFC Fight Night 271 card in Seattle using AI-generated branding, there were those who took issue with the fact that artists could have been used and paid for the same task.

“Give me a f***ing break,” White responded during the press conference on Saturday. “AI is coming and if we’re using AI who gives a s***. People are upset we should use artists.”

White was also asked if the use of AI was a Paramount decision, given their new streaming deal. But White maintained that UFC’s media partners have nothing to do with its production, and everything they put out has been produced in-house.

“Paramount’s not telling us how to run our production. We run our production,” he said. “We do all everything from the artwork to production to music, everything is done internally and always has been at UFC.”

He added, “How about this. Shut the f*** up and watch the fights.”

Cody Rhodes Says No One Has Come Close To Explaining His AEW Exit

Cody Rhodes has opened up about the real reason he was able to return to WWE, crediting a key decision made by his wife, Brandi Rhodes, following their departure from AEW.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club, Cody reflected on the exit from the company he helped build, explaining that the way Brandi chose to handle the situation played a major role in shaping what came next.

“Our departure from the company we were with and helped create, and that was AEW. It came down to her deciding not to talk about it to just move on.

Like, we’re not going to talk about it. Did bad stuff happen? Good stuff happened too. But I’m not going to talk about it.”

Cody went on to explain that staying silent came with its own challenges, particularly as speculation began to grow online, with fans and media creating their own versions of events without knowing the full story.

“One of the sad things about not talking about why we left is that narratives get created. Stories get told, podcasts happen, and fans think they know what happened when no one’s even been close.”

Despite that, he praised Brandi’s approach, calling it a selfless decision that helped ensure there were no lingering issues between themselves and AEW, ultimately making his WWE return smoother.

“And what I would say is the selfless part is that she lives with that. She owns that. She respects not just here, but the place we left enough to say, ‘I’m not going to talk about that.’ And that made it so that they’re good like, they’re out of here.

That was very helpful for us. And again, good stuff happened there too. But that’s what I mean by selfless, because she lives with that.”

Cody also touched on how fan perception can often spiral beyond reality, noting that while some narratives take hold online, they do not always reflect the majority of the audience.

“One of the things about that is wrestling fans they create narratives. They think they know. I had to remind her, ‘Hey, it’s not all the fans.’”

He pointed to WrestleMania 40 as a turning point, where Brandi joined him on stage and received a strong, positive reaction, helping to reinforce that the fanbase had not turned against her.

“And WrestleMania 40 was the prime example of that. I said, ‘You’re going to come out with me at WrestleMania 40.’ And I was so happy because the fans reacted big pop, big excitement.

I just needed to nudge her a little, like, ‘See? Those are the real ones. They get it. They’re not mad at you.’”

Cody finished by emphasizing how unique wrestling fans can be when it comes to welcoming talent back, regardless of past exits or controversies.

“That was very important that she felt that. Because a lot of wrestlers step away, go somewhere else, or make a mistake, and when they come back, the fans always welcome you back. They’re really special.”

Dragon Dia Confirms Dragon Gate Exit Effective April 1

Dragon Dia Confirms Dragon Gate Exit Effective April 1

Dragon Dia is officially set to move on from Dragon Gate, with the junior heavyweight announcing he will leave the promotion at the start of April.

In a statement released Tuesday, Dia confirmed that following extensive discussions with Dragon Gate, both sides agreed that his run with the company will come to an end on April 1. He expressed gratitude for his time there, thanking the promotion for the lessons he gained and acknowledging the fans who supported him throughout his journey.

Dia noted that he plans to take a short break in order to recharge before returning to the ring with a renewed mindset. He added that he hopes fans will continue to support him as he looks to evolve into a more complete and mature performer.

Clarifying speculation, Dia stated that his decision is not related to any injury or health concerns. He also confirmed that he has not signed with another promotion at this time. However, his previous appearances in NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors and Super Junior Tag League in both 2024 and 2025 have led to speculation that New Japan Pro-Wrestling could be a potential landing spot, especially as the company begins to reveal participants for this year’s tournament.

Now 27, Dia debuted in 2018 under the Dragon Gate banner as a protege of Dragon Kid. During his time with the promotion, he captured the Open the Brave Gate Championship on two occasions and also enjoyed success in tag team and trios competition.
