Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio WrestleMania Match Set

Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio WrestleMania Match Set

A new match is now official for WrestleMania, as Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio are set to face each other in Las Vegas following a heated exchange on the March 30 episode of WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden.

During WWE RAW, Finn Balor delivered a passionate video promo where he directly addressed his former Judgment Day ally. Balor reflected on their time together and made it clear that their relationship has fully broken down.

He spoke about the group’s dominance on WWE RAW and the bond they once shared. However, Balor admitted that not everything sat well with him, especially when it came to Dominik Mysterio. He pointed to one major regret that continues to stand out.

Balor said, “The Judgment Day was a family and we ran Raw for four years. I did things I did not like, but the worst decision I made was believing I could turn Dominik into a man.”

He continued to explain how he supported Dominik when he needed guidance and claimed he was always there during difficult moments.

Balor added, “I ran the playbook, and when you were lost, I was the one you turned to. I stood up for you, and you did not lose the title because of me — you lost it because you are a self-entitled jackass.”

The former champion then took responsibility for Dominik’s behavior and made his intentions for WrestleMania very clear.

He stated, “I am responsible for creating that jackass, and now I am responsible for destroying him at WrestleMania.”

Later in the show, Dominik Mysterio responded during a commercial break and accepted the challenge. He also addressed his recent Intercontinental Championship loss and placed the blame directly on Balor.

Dominik said, “I should still be standing here as the Intercontinental Champion. Thanks to Finn Bálor — not once, but twice — I was cost the opportunity to regain the title.”

He ended his response with a confident statement about the upcoming match.

Dominik added, “At WrestleMania, there will only be one man standing tall, and it will be me.”

With both men trading strong words, the stage is now set for a personal showdown at WrestleMania in Las Vegas. The match adds another high-profile rivalry to the card, with both competitors looking to prove a point after the collapse of The Judgment Day.

WWE WrestleMania 42 Card Adds Women’s Tag Title Four-Way, Surprising Singles Match

It’s been a busy day for WrestleMania match announcements. Earlier in the show, two matches were made official — Finn Balor will face Dominik Mysterio, while Penta announced a ladder match for his Men’s Intercontinental Championship.

During “Raw,” The Irresistible Forces defended their tag titles against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria. The Bellas, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss came to the ring. Flair and Bliss caused a disqualification, which led to a brawl involving all four teams. Later in the show, it was announced that they will all compete for the tag titles at WrestleMania in a Fatal 4-Way.

Seth Rollins was arrested last week, but Adam Pearce announced to Paul Heyman that all charges had been dropped, and that Rollins is medically cleared to compete. Right on cue, Rollins attacked Heyman from behind with a chair and landed a Curb Stomp. While fans may have been expecting Bron Breakker, who was reportedly backstage for the show, GUNTHER appeared instead to drag Rollins from the ring and put him in a sleeper. He pointed to the WrestleMania sign and got his wish. He will be facing Rollins at “The Show of Shows,” as announced by Pearce later in the evening.

Earlier in the day, John Cena announced that he will be hosting a two night event. WrestleMania 42 will be April 18 & 19.

Stephanie McMahon Confronts Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW

Stephanie McMahon Confronts Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW

Stephanie McMahon made a surprise appearance during the March 30 episode of WWE RAW, which took place at Madison Square Garden. The unexpected return came during the opening segment and quickly shifted the tone of the show.

The night began with a strong atmosphere as fans packed the arena. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes entered to a loud reaction. He wore a suit and carried the title while taking time to interact with fans on his way to the ring. One moment stood out as Rhodes paused to take a selfie with a young fan, though the interaction lasted longer than expected due to a delay with the phone.

Once inside the ring, Rhodes completed his full entrance and addressed the crowd. He opened with his usual line, asking what the audience wanted to talk about. He also referred to Madison Square Garden as the “mecca” and “epicenter” of WWE.

Before he could continue, Stephanie McMahon’s music hit. The crowd reacted loudly as she made her way to the ring. Rhodes looked surprised by her arrival.

Stephanie acknowledged that surprise and reminded everyone that unexpected moments are part of her identity. She spoke about her family’s long history with Madison Square Garden and referenced their influence on the venue’s legacy.

She then turned her attention to WrestleMania. Stephanie compared herself, Rhodes, and Randy Orton as multi-generation WWE figures. She pointed out how rare that connection is, but made it clear she did not believe Rhodes matched that legacy. She stated that he is not Dusty Rhodes and claimed that this version of Cody could not defeat this version of Orton.

Rhodes responded by saying he knows Orton well and does not need any “teacher versus student” narrative. The exchange became personal when Stephanie questioned how he compares to his father.

Rhodes fired back and said, “You aren’t either.”

Stephanie immediately slapped Rhodes. She then criticized him and said she was telling the truth because no one else would. She warned him about what lies ahead and pushed the microphone into his chest before turning to leave.

Rhodes stopped her by grabbing her arm and turning her back around. Instead of escalating the situation, he responded calmly, “Stephanie McMahon, I’ve got two words for you… thank you.”

He dropped the microphone and left the ring. Stephanie remained inside, smiling, while the crowd reacted with boos as Rhodes exited. Commentary later recapped the segment as one of the most surprising moments of the night.

Seth Rollins Medically Cleared To Compete, Gets Attacked By GUNTHER On WWE Raw

Gunther returned during “WWE Raw” to establish a WrestleMania 42 feud with Seth Rollins, coming to the aid of Paul Heyman.

Heyman had taken to the ring for a promo segment addressing the supposed vendetta towards him and the Vision by General Manager Adam Pearce, prompting Pearce to come out and respond. The GM told Heyman that the charges had been dropped against Rollins for his in-storyline arrest last week, and went further to say that he had also been medically cleared for competition.

A scared Heyman was then approached from behind by a masked Rollins in the ring, unmasking and clattering the manager with a steel chair shot. He set up Heyman on the chair, presumably for a stomp onto it.

Only for Gunther to make his return and cinch in a rear choke on Rollins, pushing him up against the announcer’s desk as Rollins flailed about looking for an escape. As he passed out, Gunther pointed to the WrestleMania sign. Pearce later made the match official in a backstage segment addressing the attack.

It’s not yet clear whether that means Gunther is a part of the Vision or being represented by Heyman moving forward. Gunther was last seen beating Dragon Lee at the beginning of this month, having initiated another legend-hunting feud with currently injured Rey Mysterio.

He had retired both John Cena and AJ Styles ahead of that, lending to the idea that he would be facing Mysterio in the next match of that grain at WrestleMania. Now he will be facing Rollins, another veteran that likely won’t be retiring against the “Ring General,” even if stranger things have happened.
