Paul Heyman Addresses Seth Rollins’ Injury and Defends The Vision – Paul Heyman kicked off Monday’s WWE RAW by addressing the fallout from Seth Rollins’ injury and the newly vacated World Heavyweight Championship, delivering one of his most scathing and unapologetic promos in recent memory.
After Adam Pearce announced that Rollins would be sidelined for “quite a while” following major surgery and officially stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship, Heyman took the microphone to “set the record straight.” His message was clear — The Vision, led by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, were not villains but visionaries shaping the future of WWE.
“Before we move on with the show, somebody smartened me up to this,” Heyman began. “Why is everyone so mad at them? I get it. I also watched Unreal. They’re the bad guys, the villains, the heels. It’s easy to point at them and boo. What did they do to deserve that? I fail to understand that.”
Heyman continued by claiming The Vision had nothing to do with Seth Rollins’ downfall, saying Rollins wasn’t the man to lead them into the future. “He didn’t leave Roman or Punk for Seth. He pulled his power play at WrestleMania because Bron is the future of WrestleMania. Bronson Reed proved he was better than Roman Reigns in Perth. It was Vision over Bloodline. Seth was pointing to the future with his one good arm — he couldn’t shoulder leading them into the future. He’s not who he says he is. Seth is a bum shoulder bitch.”
Heyman then declared that “winners write history,” asserting that Breakker and Reed had earned their spots at the top. “Seth headlines WrestleMania no more. That spot belongs to Bron Breakker. Bron and Bronson conspired to take that away from Seth Rollins. They had the ambition, need, and intensity to become WrestleMania main eventers. That’s not revisionist history — that’s a reVISION of the future.”
Closing his address, Heyman thanked the audience for their time before officially welcoming everyone to RAW.
