A recent social advertising campaign by UK-based Walkers potato chip company has backfired in tremendous fashion.
The campaign asked individuals to submit selfies via Twitter, which would then be featured in the “#WalkersWave”. The photos submitted would then be featured doing a Mexican wave. The top prize in the campaign was to be Champions League tickets.
However, some people seem to have taken advantage of the campaign by submitting photos of individuals including child molesters, murderers, and terrorists. One of the photos submitted included former WCW and WWE star Chris Benoit, who murdered his wife, Nancy, and son, Daniel,
