That star is MJF, who hasn’t been seen since the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event in December, where he sustained a torn labrum and a hip injury. Reports earlier this week indicated that several sources within AEW expect MJF to return by the June Forbidden Door pay-per-view event in New York, if not sooner. There were unconfirmed reports that he underwent surgery in April.

PWInsider.com recently reported that an Elite subscriber spotted MJF on a flight from JFK Airport in New York City to Arizona, traveling with his girlfriend, Alicia Atout. Given that Las Vegas is just a few hours away from Phoenix, there is speculation that AEW might have flown MJF into Phoenix instead of Las Vegas to avoid him being seen at the Vegas airport, potentially hinting at a surprise return.

Yesterday, it was reported that multiple sources within AEW believe MJF could be returning imminently. As of now, MJF has not been spotted in Las Vegas, and there is no confirmation that he will appear at the show tonight.
