Raquel Rodriguez Reflects on 10 Years in WWE

Raquel Rodriguez recently spoke about reaching a major milestone in her career, as she celebrated ten years with WWE. During an interview with Soundsphere, she discussed how her mindset has changed over time and what she has learned from a decade in the wrestling business.

Rodriguez shared that one of her biggest realizations has been understanding her own strength, both mentally and physically. “I think I’ve learned that I’m much stronger than I believe.I can handle a lot more than I think I can. When you’re out there in this crazy business, you’re on your own, young, growing up through this business for 10 years. It’s the longest job I’ve ever held, by the way.”

She explained that spending so many years in WWE has shaped her as a person. According to Rodriguez, her priorities have shifted as she gained more experience. “You really grow as a human, as a person and you learn what’s important in life. For me at least my priorities have definitely changed a lot. I’ve focused more on my health this year, I’ve focused more on my family and my connections and my relationships that matter to me the most.”

Rodriguez also opened up about the challenges of life on the road and how she manages them. “That’s what really gets me through the long travel days and the long nights on the road when I miss my animals and I miss my family. But I’ve learned that I can do it and that I can stay strong. As long as I have my beliefs and my faith, there’s really nothing that can get under my skin these days.”

Her WWE journey began in 2016 when she debuted in NXT. She later reached a key milestone by winning the NXT Women’s Championship from IYO SKY. In 2021, she teamed with Dakota Kai to become the first NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Rodriguez moved to the main roster and continued to find success in tag team competition. She won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Liv Morgan multiple times. In 2024, she aligned with The Judgment Day, helping Morgan during her Bad Blood match against Rhea Ripley.

Looking ahead, Rodriguez remains focused on returning to the top of the tag team division, now working alongside Roxanne Perez as she aims for another championship run.
