• Reason Behind Ric Flair Being Brought Back To WWE Programming

According to The Dirty Sheets patreon page, WWE has a new edict to get more managers on their TV programs.

This is why RAW Executive Director Bruce Prichard, who is a good friend of Ric Flair, brought back Flair to pair him up with Charlotte Flair.

However, the plan was later nixed when Vince McMahon decided they have done a good job in distinguishing Charlotte as a standalone star.

This led to Flair being used in the Randy Orton / Christian angle last week and word going on is that Flair will now be paired with Orton on TV.

While Orton doesn’t need a manager, WWE is trying to help Flair pay off his ‘excessive outgoings’ (alimony…). WWE already pays Flair a downside guarantee on his Legends deal, but Flair is going to get paid a lot more now that he’s back on TV.
