The feud between Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill is officially heading toward another major showdown, with WWE confirming on the May 22 episode of SmackDown that the two will meet again on May 31 at WWE Clash in Italy in Turin.

During SmackDown, Ripley addressed the situation directly, saying she had one week off but still found herself at the center of attention. She then made it clear that if Cargill wanted her again, she would face the same result.

Ripley said she would beat Cargill again in Italy, continuing their heated rivalry that has escalated since WrestleMania 42, where Ripley defeated Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

After her WrestleMania loss, Cargill was absent from WWE programming for a period before returning recently to confront Ripley and immediately re-establish herself as a top contender. Since then, she has remained focused on Ripley and the title picture.

Ripley has not been alone in the ongoing conflict. She has aligned in recent weeks with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, although the partnership has been unstable. Flair in particular has shown reluctance to fully commit to Ripley’s alliance, creating tension within the group.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Flair and Bliss arrived backstage where Flair reminded Ripley that their immediate focus must be the upcoming six-woman tag team match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The trio will face Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin.

The disagreement between Ripley and Flair escalated into a shouting match before being interrupted by Fatal Influence, which led to a tag team match being set later in the show.

With tensions rising across multiple alliances and rivalries overlapping, Ripley and Cargill’s rematch in Italy now stands as one of the key matches shaping the WWE summer direction.
