Ricky Starks Was Backstage at Recent AEW Dynamite – Although AEW has a lot of talent under contract with the promotion, there are some notable names on the sidelines with injuries, such as Adam Cole, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Ricky Starks.

In late March, Starks had a scary moment when he teamed with Big Bill against Top Flight in an AEW Tag Team tournament quarterfinal. During the bout, Starks took a pele kick to the back of the head by Darius Martin. This led to him being rolled up and he did not kick out.

However, because that wasn’t the planned finish, the referee didn’t count the fall, and it continued with Darius eventually winning with a DDT to Starks. Bill and Starks were originally slated to win the match and face FTR.

Following the bout, Starks took to his Instagram Story, where he noted, “I’m all good. Everything checked out fine. Was being precautious.” He has wrestled since the match.

Pwinsider reports, “While he was not on television, Ricky Starks was in Jacksonville, Florida, last week getting checked out by AEW’s medical team.” Last week’s Dynamite was in the city.
