Ridge Holland Provides Update After Surgery for Lisfranc Foot Injury

Ridge Holland Provides Update After Surgery for Lisfranc Foot Injury – WWE star Ridge Holland has shared a positive update following surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury suffered during a recent appearance at a TNA Wrestling television taping.

Holland sustained the injury during his match against Moose, which was stopped and ruled a no-contest after he was unable to continue. The incident led to immediate medical evaluation, and it was later confirmed that Holland required surgery to address the damage.

Taking to X, Holland reassured fans about his recovery progress, saying, “The foot’s kind of recovering pretty well. Hopefully, I can get back into the gym Monday. I get a cast put on Thursday.”

A former professional rugby league player, Holland began his WWE journey in 2018 after signing with the company and competing in NXT. He joined the main roster in 2021 as a member of The Brawling Brutes alongside Sheamus and Pete Dunne before returning to NXT in late 2023.

Throughout his career, Holland has faced multiple setbacks due to injuries, something he’s referred to as a “bumpy ride.” Earlier this year, in March 2024, he was written into a storyline where he announced an indefinite break from in-ring competition for mental health reasons.

Before his latest injury, Holland had just started working with TNA Wrestling, taking part in several cross-promotional appearances, including a match against Mike Santana at Victory Road.

While no specific timeline has been set for his return, Holland’s encouraging update suggests that his recovery is moving in the right direction.
