Sheamus Undergoes Shoulder Surgery

Sheamus Undergoes Shoulder Surgery – Sheamus is set to undergo shoulder surgery, explaining his recent removal from WWE television. The update was confirmed on Tuesday by his wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, who shared the news through a post on Instagram.

Revilla-Farrelly posted a video of the couple arriving at the Birmingham Surgery Center in Birmingham, Alabama, a facility commonly used by WWE talent for orthopedic procedures. She kept a lighthearted tone while addressing the situation, referencing their recent travels across Europe before the unexpected medical stop.

“When I told my husband I wanted to go on one last trip before the end of the year, this is NOT what I meant. From the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Trevi Fountain in Rome to La Sagrada Família in Barcelona to… the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama — I’m honestly just happy to travel with him.”

The surgery sheds light on Sheamus’ sudden disappearance from WWE programming. He last competed on the November 17, 2025 episode of Monday Night RAW, where he teamed with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio, Finn Bálor, and JD McDonagh. That match marked Cena’s final appearance on RAW.

Earlier in the month, Sheamus had advanced in The Last Time Is Now tournament with a first-round victory over Shinsuke Nakamura on the November 10 episode of RAW. However, following the tag team match one week later, he was quietly removed from the tournament bracket due to the shoulder injury and replaced, with no on-screen explanation at the time.

At 47 years old, Sheamus has maintained a demanding, physical in-ring style since debuting on the WWE main roster in 2009. That approach has contributed to a long history of injuries. In 2013, he underwent surgery for a torn labrum in his shoulder. In 2017, he publicly revealed that he suffers from spinal stenosis in his neck, a condition he has managed for years. More recently, a shoulder injury in September 2023 sidelined him until April 2024.

As of now, there is no confirmed timetable for his recovery or return to action. WrestlingAttitude.Com wishes Sheamus a smooth surgery and a full recovery.
