While many fans welcomed Ruca’s main roster debut, her new entrance theme became a talking point online.

Some viewers criticized the track, with a number of posts suggesting she had been “Def REBEL’d,” referencing Def Rebel, which produces WWE entrance music.

“WWE JUST DEF REBEL’D SOL RUCA,” one fan wrote.

However, that criticism appears to overlook the fact that Def Rebel was also responsible for her previous theme. The reaction instead seems to stem from the difference in tone compared to her earlier music.

Reports and fan discussion indicate that Ruca’s new theme has been in development for some time and may be tied to broader presentation changes. One fan pointed out that her father, musician Paul A Hampton, had previously created her original theme, “She’ll Snatch Your Soul,” as a personal gesture when she signed with WWE.

That earlier track carried a different feel, which may explain why the new version has drawn comparisons and criticism.

Despite the mixed response to her music, Ruca’s debut itself placed her in a prominent position immediately. Being paired with Lynch — the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion — signals that WWE is positioning her in a meaningful role right away.
