WWE also aired a highlight video package for Oba Femi, continuing to spotlight the NXT standout on SmackDown. The presentation strongly suggested that “The Ruler” may be nearing a main roster call-up, though WWE has not confirmed any official move.

Oba Femi recently faced Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, a match that ended abruptly when Drew McIntyre interfered. With WWE now featuring Oba on SmackDown programming, speculation continues that he may soon join the roster full-time to settle unfinished business with Rhodes.

As of now, WWE has not announced when Oba Femi might debut on SmackDown, but the groundwork is clearly being laid.
