During Sunday night’s AAA television taping, which took place in Monterrey, Mexico, Sexy Star became the brand new AAA Reina de Reinas Champion after Taya Valkyrie was stripped of the championship because she, according to AAA, “used a choke hold during her No-DQ match with Ayako Hamada.” Valkyrie defeated Hamada back in April to initially win the championship.
