During Thursday’s WWE earnings conference call the company confirmed plans to hold the 32-competitor women’s tournament in the third quarter of this year.
The plan is to taped episodes for the tournament in July, according to PWinsider.com. The format will much like the Cruiserweight Classic with tapings taking place in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University but there has been talk of holding outside of Full Sail.
Talents who will be used in the tournament are currently going through the standard background checks and medical tests that traditionally come with a WWE deal. The finals
