TNA Wrestling has sparked speculation about the return of EC3 ahead of this weekend’s TNA Rebellion.

On Friday, the company released a teaser video showcasing merchandise and ring gear closely associated with EC3. The post was accompanied by the caption: “BREAKING: You CAN’T MISS #TNARebellion THIS SATURDAY LIVE on PPV and TNA+! Get tickets now and join us at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.” While no official confirmation was given, the visual hints have led many to believe that EC3 could be set for a return appearance.

EC3 recently became a free agent after announcing his departure from the National Wrestling Alliance in January, ending a four-year run with the company. During that time, he held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship from August 27, 2023, to August 31, 2024.

The former world champion is no stranger to TNA. EC3 previously enjoyed a successful run with the promotion, capturing the TNA World Championship on two occasions and becoming one of the company’s top stars during that period.

His initial run came to an unusual end in 2018 when he lost the Feast or Fired match and was “fired” as part of the storyline. He later signed with WWE, where he remained until his release in 2020.

If EC3 does return at TNA Rebellion, it would mark his first appearance with the promotion in several years and potentially add a notable name to the event’s lineup. For now, TNA has yet to officially confirm his involvement, but the teaser has clearly fueled anticipation heading into the show.
