Tommy Dreamer Praises Danhausen’s WWE RAW Debut – The professional wrestling world is buzzing following the official WWE RAW debut of Danhausen. After a theatrical reveal from a mystery crate at Elimination Chamber 2026, the unique performer made his presence felt on the flagship show this week. Tommy Dreamer, speaking on Busted Open Radio, expressed significant confidence in the character’s long-term potential within the company.
During a notable backstage segment with General Manager Adam Pearce, Danhausen presented a series of “demandhausens.” His satirical requirements for the brand included his own blimp, his image on the side of every production truck, and a photo op with Triple H. Dreamer argued that this specific brand of character work is the key to establishing a deep bond with the WWE audience.
“Day two, he has his little list of demands with Adam Pearce. I thought it was freaking great. Then he puts a curse on Dom Mysterio, and then he disappears. Stuff like this, with his character work, he will entertain and win us over. The fact that this curse now has happened, I have Dominik Mysterio, Danhausen getting this, ‘Hey man, you’ve got to lift this curse off me.’ This is a way that Danhausen will continue to get over,” Dreamer explained.
The “curse” proved to be a narrative catalyst, as Dominik Mysterio lost his Intercontinental Championship to Penta later in the broadcast. Dreamer sees a clear path forward for the star, comparing his potential trajectory to that of R-Truth, who has found sustained success on SmackDown following his 2025 contract negotiations.
Dreamer believes that positioning Danhausen as a comedic “wild card” could be a massive victory for the promotion.
“They have R-Truth more so on SmackDown, if this character could be utilized like R-Truth is on Raw, this will be a home run for Danhausen and the WWE,” Dreamer concluded.
