Tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live emanates from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in, Phoenix, AZ for a special July 4 edition.
John Cena makes his long-awaited return to SmackDown Live. However, the 16-time World Champion’s will be returning as a “Free Agent” which means he can appear on both SmackDown Live and Monday’s Raw.
In addition, The New Face of America and United States Champion, Kevin Owens, will find out who his WWE Battleground opponent will be after an Independence Day Battle Royal. Women’s action will see Lana challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi.
