Tony Khan Comments On AEW Worlds End 2025 Sales, Support From WBD’s David Zaslav

There’s been some uncertainty over the future of AEW on WBD after recent news about Netflix acquiring WBD. But Tony Khan was positive about the news, explaining that he trusts WBD CEO David Zaslav, whom he credited with giving AEW plenty of opportunities, including suggesting the addition of Collision.

“The person who put us in this position in the first place, when he came in and took over Warner Bros. and built Warner Bros. Discovery, is David Zaslav. And David Zaslav’s always been a great supporter of AEW since Warner Bros. Discovery was formed. And over the past several years, he’s continued to give us these great opportunities,” he added. “And as Warner Brothers Discovery has evolved, obviously, there are a lot of interested people in what’s happening and I completely trust Mr. Zaslav.”

Khan stated that he trusts Zaslav’s decisions and feels that the WBD executive will do what’s in the best interest of the company’s shareholders and the company as a whole. The Netflix acquisition of WBD isn’t complete yet, with Paramount also reportedly interested in a deal to acquire WBD.
