Tyler Bate is Officially on the SmackDown Roster

Tyler Bate is Officially on the SmackDown Roster – Tyler Bate made a significant leap to the main roster, marking his debut during last night’s SmackDown episode where he teamed up with Butch against Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

After the show, Bate was featured in a backstage video clip that was shared via WWE’s official Instagram page with a caption that read, “The Big Strong Boi is here to stay!”

His WWE journey began in 2016, initially joining the NXT UK brand. Bate’s early success included winning the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament, ultimately becoming the inaugural United Kingdom Champion.

With the temporary closure of the NXT UK brand due to plans for NXT Europe, Bate transitioned to the NXT brand in the United States. However, in recent times, he hadn’t been prominently featured on NXT TV.

As of December, discussions within WWE had been circulating about moving Bate up to the main roster, considering his exceptional wrestling abilities. Despite his underutilization in recent NXT programming, Bate is regarded as one of the premier talents within the company and he’s now officially on the SmackDown Roster.
